Mika has about turned. Joe was hobbling off get rid the day after the debate and she stuck with her "Trump is rapey ****" mantra. She does have friends at the top of the party, maybe see is seeing the change of mood.
 
The latest Biden theory seems to be that he's got Parkinson's. First the press conference was asked about repeated visits from a doctor in that field; this evening, a UK politician (Baroness Kennedy) said she thought it looked like it from the way he walks, whether this was suggested in her mind having seen the press conference isn't clear.

Whitehouse have denied that. They've had a specialist check him out.

This Parkinson's line is another Fox News bullshit line they also tried using on Clinton after the collapse video.

The current political news cycle is Biden incompetent this, Biden senile that, Biden frail, Biden old, Biden bad, ... Biden, Biden, Biden. There's zero chance that Biden will beat Trump if this keeps up - and I think it will unless he pulls out of the race.

Trump is his own worst enemy. His outlandish statements and behavior may fire up his base, but often has the opposite effect on other voters. Right now, Radio Trump is silent. Top of mind is how incompetent/senile/frail/old/whatever Biden is.

There’s a germ of truth to it though.

A doctor specialising in neurological disorders has visited the White House 8 times in the last year.

He's doing an unscripted presser this afternoon at the NATO summit. If it's another car crash, he won't be able to resist the clamour to stand down; if it's OK, he gets another week or so until the next unscripted live event. He's hanging on by his fingernails, and he may slip off the edge this afternoon - 1 more car crash, like the live debate was, and his position won't be tenable at all.

He has the face of someone with parkinsons , it is like a blank mask , once you have seen it it is unmistakable

If he is forced out who takes his place ? It is alright to want him out of the race but does anyone else have the time to get recognition with the public , enough to win an election

It would have to be Harris as all the donations have been given to that campaign. They can't transfer the cash to someone else as it breaches electoral laws.

I know it was, and it was obviously very silly and cynical when it came to Clinton.

The harsh reality is though, Biden clearly has some sort of age related cognitive decline and needs to retire gracefully. For his own good, the good of his party, and arguably for the good of the future of the western world. There's no shame in admitting in your 80s that you're no longer up to having the toughest job on the planet.

Jon Sopel was saying on the News Agents yesterday that only one person in the White House has a doctor going out of their way to visit them 8 times in 8 months.

There is obviously something going on the administration doesn't want to tell the world.

Have you listened to what Pelosi has said? Very clear that she wants him to "make a decision" (her words).

His phone-in to Morning Joe was Trump levels of bat shit crazy. It's extremely worrying - the way it's going Trump is going to win a landslide and control all sides of the government. It doesn't bare thinking about.

He doesn't have the parkinsons shuffle, posture or any discernible tremor.
