The top US Democrat's husband was attacked by a hammer-wielding intruder in their California home.

Just drove by the Pelosis’ house on my way to the doctor. Street blocked off, yellow police tape and three live news crews broadcasting.

I've walked those SF hills a few times.
Steep enough for Alex Honnold to think better of climbing them.

Where they live is very steep (Pacific Heights). But it’s a shortcut to the center of town from where I live and much nicer than sitting in traffic on Lombard and Van Ness.
