Looks to me like Lille have pushed him to make this move instead of losing him for nothing next season, and the lure of big wages and a fat signing on fee were too much for his family to turn down

Yoro is really highly rated, but he's an excellent 18 year old moving to a faster and more physical league. No way of telling if he'll continue to look good, or progress.

They never learn. Pinning their hopes and dreams on an 18 year old defender with one full season under his belt in a dogshit league.

Could be a good prospect but they'll ruin the kid before he's 20.

Hojlund already looks a jaded player. Who knows, maybe there was some potential there but these lot overpaid for him and then piled on the pressure expecting him to be the second coming of Haaland.

I read that this kid’s contract expires next year, and yet there they are overpaying like the proper gorps they are.

The last reported balance sheets showed losses, Even Jim said in an interview last season that failing to get Champions League Football would be major damage to new signings in the summer,

So £70million for Yoro and £45 million for Joshua Zirkzee so far ???
 
100 million plus on unproven shite will probably be close to 200 when they've finished.

Stadium falling down, training ground not fit for purpose, manager is crap and the rest of the squad they have are nowhere near good enough.
