Dear Atheists..

No, but since he is the author and creator of all things, I’d like to think he would have the patience and understanding to engage in a rational debate about my lack of belief being mainly due to some appalling design failures and some really piss-poor PR.
just pray mate, prayers always get answered.......

Do I think there there could be an original creator in some form ? Possibly maybe

Do I believe in any of the Gods of the religions I’m aware of or that they care who we worship or who we have sex with and punish and reward us accordingly ? Nah

Not sure which Ag or Ath or Theo ithat makes me

The question is, if there is an original creator, who created him (unsure about the pronoun)?

Definitely don't think any decisions relating to casual sex are any business of any deity.

Churches and religions of all types have been obsessed by sex and sexuality since the year dot. Of course it’s always somebody else’s sex they are focussed on. Weird doesn’t begin to describe it.

Sexual drive permeates all biological behaviour so no surprise its control features prominently in all religions.

The Earth is around 4,500,000,000 years old or 1,642,500,000,000 days old. But yes of course we should believe a book written 2000 years ago (by people who knew no better let's face it) which says that god created it all in 7.

Carbon dating alone proves that god does not exist, or at least that story is bollocks anyway.

Why did he also bother to create a trillion other galaxies, stars and planets with absolutely nothing on them in the meantime?
He didn't create the earth. He created us and of that we should be thankful.

But why is the view so many of them have so weird? Even the good old C of E supported African bishops anti gay stance against US anglicans appointing gay bishops. The C of E apparently says it’s ok to be a gay vicar, provided you don’t tell anybody. Muslim women should be dressed in all covering black so as not to cause men to sin. And so on…

how about the big bang?...on both questions.
There are limits to what we as a species will ever be able to know and understand.

Doesn't mean we have to give up and invent God.

Dear Theists...

before the moment of conception you didn't exist, and after the moment of death you will also cease to exist.

Accepting your own mortality is terrifying and liberating at the same time, but it's the right thing to do.

agreed.
Although lets say the bang was the spark of all creation..something from absolutely nothing...requires a little 'faith' to bellieve in no?..

I think most folk have worked out that it's not a choice, immortality is an added bonus for some of us meaning-seeking animals looking for a happy ending.

It's too difficult to comprehend; there's so much of modern theoretical Physics I can't understand at all.

But I don't think it's faith. We keep being curious and keep being honest and look for evidence that will prove or disprove our current understanding of the world.

The alternative is to give up and believe in God.

Wrong conclusion, you can believe both but not if you are an atheist of course, which requires you to believe something came from nothing.
