No idea what on aboutAccording to that, I think we're getting Nadal , Djokovic and Federer.
Always repeat the Pep mantra: "If they don't want to play for City they don't have to." I thought it was inevitable when I heard he had opted to play in the Olympics. I wish Julian well though and think he wll be a great signing for Atleti. Rather he went there than Real. We’re so well organised now that there’ll surely be a list of replacements to go for.
I trust Pep and the rest of the men in suits to get this right as they have done on many occasions.
The problem is neither can even come close to replacing Julian's goals.I hope so, because it will give players like Bobb and Mcatee a decent chance to have more minutes.

From the ten position we will see.The problem is neither can even come close to replacing Julian's goals.
Definitely not a 10. He is really a central striker and too good to be back-up for Haaland. It looks like City are going back to proper wingers this season anyway so his game time would have been limited.Great Deal. Top player but I always thought when he played as a 10 we struggled. He is never going to replace Haaland as 1st choice so it's a great deal all round.
I love Bobb's potential, but a half dozen good showings over the last year doesn't even put him in the same breath as Alvarez. Maybe he will, but maybe not. That's a lot of goals to replace. We have obviously planned to be without Alvarez until September anyway, so him being sold doesn’t actually affect our August plans.
It’s also feasible that the club now see Bobb as being as good as Alvarez and we gain £80m to allow him his chance to shine.
If it doesn’t work out, we aren’t short of other attacking options and could dip into the market as required.
Haha was just about to post this81m. Our Coutinho moment!
A week before the season? Our hand clearly forced by player and buying club - difficult - but we should foresee this and plan accordingly or head it off at the pass. For a club of our supposed stature and success, we don't half look unprepared at times. That said, the club have been out maneuvered, easily done at the price offered I suppose, but the money is a consolation, granted. Just disappointed Mate. No news or deflating news after deflating news recently.

True, but it could well be what the club are thinking.I love Bobb's potential, but a half dozen good showings over the last year doesn't even put him in the same breath as Alvarez. Maybe he will, but maybe not. That's a lot of goals to replace.
Stop flapping. We won the league twice without any strikers. It’s a decent fee and if the player wants out, there’s not much more can be done. Are we really going into the season with just one striker?!
Like you I too drank the FA Cup final out of my mindVery wise by City, for the first time Julian is on a trophy losing streak ;)

Long may it continue.- League champions 4 times in a row (all time English men’s record)
- The treble
- The domestic treble
- 100 points
- Record goal scorers
If that’s what ‘unprepared’ and ‘deflation’ look like then give me more.
I’d also suggest reading my last post on this transfer since it gives a more level headed look at the move.
