that is the platt lane end, the north stand was a terrace, used to be called the scoreboard end

I know it was scoreboard end before the seats were put in

Seating in the North stand before it was rebuilt. I was to young to really remember what it looked like but always remember it as seating where as people often say it was a terrace. And it wrapped around to the main stand where as it was rebuilt as a shity box.

That's the Platt Lane Benches,North stand seats in the distance my first visit 62 when the North Stand was standing and called the scoreboard end.

I seem to remember a lad being led out with blood pouring from his head shortly after that.

Another time a lad being led out with a dart stuck in his forehead, not sure what game it was though.

Can't remember if it was an Open day at Maine Road, but one of the turnstiles was open and I was able to walk in and watch pre-season training 1977.

Not Maine Road. Maine Road had a wall around the pitch. This photo looks like we're playing the rags in which case this will be the swamp which had a raised surface to play on.
