More excited about Bobb than any player from the academy since Foden. I think we do have to temper expectations as, like most young players, he will have ups and downs.

I trust that Pep to manage him and pace his development as he did with Phil.

you could say the same thing about bernardo or grealish, but you just cant play everybody there as a starting point, the key is ending the plays there and thats what inverted wingers offer

Before Haaland and Ødegaard they don't exactly have a starry history of great talents. Quite a lot of "best ever" player lists have bench warmer Ole as number one :)

Coupled with his ability we've got an excellent player on our hands.

I didn't see too much of him in academy, I know he was a midfielder but more in the mould of gundogan or kdb?

No, he played across the 'forward' line generally.

I think the key difference there is that Oscar knows what to do with the ball, he knows how to build up play patiently while Julian runs, gets the ball and just shoots without thinking about the options available.
