That’s brilliant & only 18 premier league goals lol….

In 10 years Rashford who at times has been described as world class has never scored 18 premier league goals in a season.

Maybe, with a court order but not empowered under the legislation, as they are not a trader. The owner could claim the purchase was in good faith, in some instances and may be subject to compensation for any attempted seizure.
More likely a court may request removal of a trade mark but that's a thoroughly messy procedure, and expensive for the claimant and on the whole, impractical.

Most copies these days are pretty good and you need to be informed by the trade mark holder on what "tells" to look for to ID fakes. It may come as no surprise that the manufacturers include several features which are either very difficult or very expensive for the counterfeiters to copy accurately

So how does this work at the border when you bring counterfeit goods in? Customs can't confiscate items either?

If you try and bring a truck load in, you obviously intend to sell them acting as a trader in which case they can seize them.
There is no offence for a private citizen to own such goods for personal use.

The issues become more complicated for goods which might be counterfeit and be inherently dangerous like fake electrical goods where they have not passed the General Products Safety Regs. In some cases posession may be illegal.

I found the following on a website concerning itself with the matter of football shirts.

The trade in fake shirts has been around for several years, but recently the counterfeit copies have become more and more sophisticated. Some buyers claim that they can be almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Buying these counterfeit goods for personal use is not in itself illegal.

If you wish to immerse yourself this Arsenal case was one of the leading cases that led to most hootball clubs re-branding their badges (creating a new trade mark)
