Manchester United's £52.7m outlay on guaranteed class looks brilliant

Which unbelievably includes this bit about Sterling
"By contrast with United, City are smashing the record fee for an English player to buy only hope and potential, contained in the hippy-crack smoking persona of a 20-year-old coming off a mediocre season and with only 18 Premier League goals to his name".
Of course not, they are both effectively on the utd payroll.Did DRIAC ask Masters about the Rags £40 "exception" for covid when everyone else was allowed £1 million or the £35 million "exception" for The Glazers selling a minority stake to the tax dodging Chelsea fan?
He was on with Jim Shite around 1015.Is Stefans time today on Talkshite anywhere on this forum please ?

Why bother at all?Why aren't they doing it TOTALLY LIVE like they do in all Super League Rugby League matches
You hear the video ref's assessment as to the allowing/denying of a try, in real time.
It's almost like they've got something to hide
Wasn't that Ted Rogers? What was it Les Dennis used to say?
If the answers up there I'll give you the money myself.
Wasn't that Ted Rogers?
Funny how the media have never encouraged or hinted the idea that clubs should band together and claim compensation for historical loss of earnings from the dippers from being banished from Europe through no fault of their own
Not to mention the club hacking City database and the fans attacking City team bus.Funny how the media have never encouraged or hinted the idea that clubs should band together and claim compensation for historical loss of earnings from the dippers from being banished from Europe through no fault of their own

Maybe, with a court order but not empowered under the legislation, as they are not a trader. The owner could claim the purchase was in good faith, in some instances and may be subject to compensation for any attempted seizure.I imagine they could confiscate and destroy the offending shirt. Any girls wearing them? :P

More likely a court may request removal of a trade mark but that's a thoroughly messy procedure, and expensive for the claimant and on the whole, impractical.
Most copies these days are pretty good and you need to be informed by the trade mark holder on what "tells" to look for to ID fakes. It may come as no surprise that the manufacturers include several features which are either very difficult or very expensive for the counterfeiters to copy accurately
If you try and bring a truck load in, you obviously intend to sell them acting as a trader in which case they can seize them.So how does this work at the border when you bring counterfeit goods in? Customs can't confiscate items either?
