Untill this court case gets sorted I can’t really see any of these top tier players coming as if we do get found guilty then they could throw the book at us and who knows what will happen .
They probably have conditions written into their contract to deal with those sorts of eventualities. Worst case for the player is they get to move on earlier than expected and bag another massive signing on fee for themselves and their agents. Don't think they'd be overly worried about that.

I think we have earmarked Xabi to come to city post Pep.Not a realistic option as long as Xabi Alonso is at Leverkusen with him. When he leaves he's either going to follow Xabi somewhere or do his own thing. That's the moment we can go after him.

I can't see him going there, they have too many players now. BM tho...Interesting what will happen if Wirtz will go to RM
They are stacked in midfield and attack, maybe 2 bodies surely must leave

No one thought Pep would come to Manchester and still be here after 9 years.
We are now up there with Madrid as the biggest team in the world. We have that pull, Alonso might come here over Madrid.
Alonso have history playing for Madrid as player, they still have bigger chance landing Alonso than us.
And besides the reason we have Pep because we have his mates Txixi and Soriano with us back then before Pep joining.
