I realise that there are some who prefer the Govt to govern via statement and Twitter vid but not following through with a promise - such is install a new security door at a cancer treatment centre and call it a new hospital - and to fight each other which is why they have quite the most politically stupid PM followed by the 2nd most stupid but thats why for several years nothing got done and why they ran scared from Reform Ltd.

We now have a govt that is trying to get things done - even in the midst of a national emergency. They are negotiating - they are acting because their plans ( they actually have them and can articulate them ) rely on growth and if you want growth you do things like try to fix a Drs dispute so people are made better and those that can go back to work and fix trains so that people can get to work and be productive or go to towns and shop and spend money and generate growth and taxes - sadly there are some who still think it was better under a comedy actor named Alex who had a stage name of Boris who fiddled whilst it all burned because he was a laugh.

Reeves’ remark after dishing out the 20%-plus pay rise to the junior doctors was that the cost of the move was a ‘drop in the ocean’ compared to the cost of industrial action.

Anybody even remotely interested in maintaining a negotiating position would never make a statement like that.
