And there are some still denying the existence of an agenda……just about to post that, how that even warrants a mention in the article
Champions Manchester City had the lowest net spend of any Premier League club in the transfer window - actually turning in a £115.8m profit.
They spent £21.4m on Brazil winger Savinho, but selling players such as forward Julian Alvarez and defenders Joao Cancelo and Taylor Harwood-Bellis made it a profitable window.
In fact, none of last season's top three featured prominently when it came to net spend.
Arsenal spent £93.9m - including £38.4m on Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori and £27.4m apiece for Spanish duo David Raya and Mikel Merino - but sold £76.8m worth of players.
Liverpool bought midfielder Federico Chiesa and goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili but selling players such as Fabio Carvalho, Sepp van den Berg and Bobby Clark meant they made a £14.4m profit.
City, of course, have won four successive Premier League titles. They face 115 charges – which they deny – of alleged breaches of the league's financial rules.
when you read it, the bit i underlined has definitely been added after the article was written, the end bit just isn't neededDefinitely an editorial addition - it's just so random the way it's shoehorned in
Subtle isn't it? :-)This is from article on the BBC website this morning about the transfer window and specifically about how much the title contenders spent.
You might wonder what is the relevance to the topic

Always thought our media department lacked any kind of nouse. When asked stupid questions, pep needs a go to line. Something on the lines of “ next stupid question gets a prize “What a fucking weird Sky interview with Pep.
'Pep will you be queuing up to get Oasis tickets?'
'No I'll be preparing for West Ham'.
'What are your thoughts on the Oasis reunion?'
'(Long, bemused pause). I think it's good for the Oasis fans. (Long pause).'
I wouldn't class the morons they employ as interviewers, probably plucked from a Rag or Dipper watchalong chsnnel on you tube. They're the same calibre as those crayon munchers.fair enough both channels have shit interviewers tbf
....proper Berting !!Love the housery to make £115m profit.
City - Champions of the lowest net spend of the top clubs; boiling last day transfer-market piss.Love the housery to make £115m profit.
It's almost as if the BBC are not actually editorially independent. Who knew this shabby organisation would so wilfully ignore the whole point of its Royal Charter and the reason why it continues to be funded by the public.later on there is probably the clumsiest 115 reference I've ever seen. It's like the editor read the article and decided it needs a 115 sentence randomly shoved in
Said it many times, they need banning from the ground. This is from article on the BBC website this morning about the transfer window and specifically about how much the title contenders spent.

In defence of our media chap, when that toe rag asked Pep if he'd had back handers like Mancini, he went to stop it dead. Pep interrupted the media guy, said it was OK and answered it.Always thought our media department lacked any kind of nouse. When asked stupid questions, pep needs a go to line. It's great, I like to think they offered 85 mill for Alverez but we refused saying we'd only accept 82 mill.Love the housery to make £115m profit.
Well if thats the case, we need to stop being pussies. These bellends wouldn’t last two minutes with baconfaceIn defence of our media chap, when that toe rag asked Pep if he'd had back handers like Mancini, he went to stop it dead. Pep interrupted the media guy, said it was OK and answered it.
Our media department are told what their role is. I do not believe they are shit, they simply do as they are told, by Khaldoon, Pep, whoever.
It is clear that orders from above are that we do not take on the press.

If you read Sorianos book "The goal doesn’t go in by chance" it will tell you all about how we handle the media. In defence of our media chap, when that toe rag asked Pep if he'd had back handers like Mancini, he went to stop it dead. Pep interrupted the media guy, said it was OK and answered it.
