Good win for us that. West Ham are a good side this season and Kudus+Bowen were dangerous. Wan Bissaka was class for them… typical United!

Lovely hattrick from Haaland: slotted one past the ’keeper, smashed one in the top corner and chipped one home.

Thought we looked vulnerable to their counter-attack at times, but outside that we controlled the game very well.

He played a beautiful pass to KDB, who makes that goal 99 times out of 100. He caused two cards for their defenders. I agree that Bobb will start when he gets back, but Doku is playing fine. He's rough around the edges, but Pep's job is to coach him up.

This sub can't function without picking a player, seemingly at random, and deciding they're not good enough.

Match thread at various moments had Rico, Grealish, Dias and Doku as not being good enough despite them all putting huge shifts in. Spoiled doesn't even cover it.

Bissaka looked better when he switched sides - I thought we pushed him back in the first half. Bowen is a quality player, I can see them causing problems for a few teams, which will be good for us.
 
Well played City!

A brilliant first half where we had enough chances to be out of sight.

I thought they all played well, Kovacic was superb in the middle and great to see that level of performance without Stones, Rodri and Foden...the rest of the teams should be very worried!

Running out of words for Erling. He was unbelievable again, three top notch finishes!
We need to get him signed up for the long term, he's a one off and top teams don't let players of his quality leave.
