West Ham United (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Fucking blatant attempt to reign-in Kevin by booking him. Utter wanker of a bloke.
He was booked for diving in and probably more so for the 'professional' then rolling around after no contact. However, Kev should know what to expect diving in like that. However, he did break up play.

A player that carries a threat and brings excitement when he gets the ball.

That's what I want to watch.
People want the excitement of Doku, the control of Bernardo/Grealish, and the goal-scoring of Foden all in one player. Lol.

We did potentially have all of that in one player, but unfortunately, his ankle is broken! ;)

Grealish did really well for his cameo but still needs to work on his finishing
Nunes best position is on the left wing; did really well there. Would like to see more of them there. I don't think he can make it in midfield otherwise.
Rico is consistent which lovely
Halaand is an incredible striker.
I don't think Doku is going to make it here; he has reached his capabilities and I'd rather see him come on as a sub when Oscar Bob returns. Ideally, I would like him sold in the future.
gvardiol and Dias have been very shaky so far to the season

Overall, though we have such an amazing squad when you think of it; still missing Foden, Oscar Bob, John stones. I'm glad we did not buy anybody this transfer window. Our squad is already complete.

Regarding your comments about Doku are you a first team coach at City ? You must be to know Doku has reach his best.

Brilliant win but I really wish we would bring in a decent set piece coach. Kevs corners were pretty poor and even our 3rd goal, their break just before it was us not being able to keep the ball from our own throw in.
We get so so many set pieces and could do so much more from them

Brilliant result and a wonderful performance.

Dug in really well in the first portion of the second half as fair fucks to West Ham, they will give a lot of teams a very tough game.

The quality, composure and determination we have as a team is frightening. Everyone pulling their weight.

Three lovely assists for Bernie, Rico and (especially pleased for) Nunes.

Gundo a delight off the bench. All this done whilst giving John Boy, Kyle and Rodders an extended rest.

Haaland just looks imperious.

Pain in the arse this international break.

Great first half that deserved more goals than we actually got. Made hard work of it in the second half but I thought all of our goals today came from lovely passages of play with superb finishing from Haaland.
A tough game for us but we did really well. Good to see Grealish did so well first half and the pass from Nuñes for Haaland's hatrick was fantastic.
Lewis continues to impress, I thought he might find it a bit tough today as West Ham are a big physical side but he did well.
Cheers City and well done. Feet up now, be nice if you all pulled out of the international games.
We need Foden and Savinho back though.
