Looks like the rag sympathisers sky sports will run the Rodri story for the next two weeks.

Fuckin wankers.

As sure as night follows day we get the shit city story to follow another rag shitshow on the pitch.

Predictable but winds the shit out of me.

His opinion is better than most…
Not discounting the quality of any opinions on here, only the ability to parse words in pursuit of argument.

There are many posters on here that I both admire and to whom I pay attention, of which he is one. That doesn’t, though, predispose me to genuflection, especially when it’s a pedantic point of differing opinions.

Indeed, he has shown his class by following the exchange with a desire to not only draw it to a close, but then immediately “Like” a post of mine in another thread. That tells me something about the man and has done nothing negative to my previously held high opinion of his posts in general.

Was a good article on Granada Reports tonight with loads of ex City players on. Looked like a proper get together. Sorry can’t provide a link cos I’m a Luddite but worth a watch if you can.

I enjoy the fact that the cunts are so jealous that we have one of the best players in the world that they have to invent little stories about him leaving to give themselves some hope that their has been clubs might somehow close the gap on us one day.

Happened every year for almost a decade with Sergio, how did that work out for them

I’m pretty sure Royle lost. I think his claim was a speculative punt. His argument was weak iirc.
He did lose after City appealed the initial verdict, which was in his favour, I think.

The case wasn't too dissimilar to Leicester, with the core argument around whether we were a PL club at the time he was sacked, which would have entitled him to a higher payout, or whether we were a Championship club.

If I recall correctly, the appeal judges decided that he was sacked after we'd handed over our PL share to one of the promoted clubs. Therefore we were no longer a PL club.

Seems like a perfectly sensible and rational judgment.

Didn't City send bailiffs to Ipswich where Joe was manager to recover the compensation he was ordered to pay back after City won the appeal?
Caused a lot of bad feeling from Joe towards the club IIRC

Haaland was supposedly only staying with us for 18 months before joining Madrid according to the media.
They think their bullshit appeases the red shirts, yet even they know they write shit about us

As recently as April 2023 Wio was telling us all how much Casemiro was better than Rodri - mind you it was 1st April 2023
