I disagree.

Imagine writing how clubs have conspired, clubs lobbying & even embedded in organisations to try & stop City & yet just like on the field they’ve failed. It’s sensational the way they’ve used rules & regulations & Citys execs tiki taka’d around them all.

There is an absolute thriller to be written & would get millions of clicks. Fucking hell you can get media print giving 2 sides to Israel / Palestine but not 1 has backed City….. it’s ludicrous!!

I hope your right bit this scenario requires stuff to come out into the open from city or the panel showing the Prem in a bad way I don’t think that will happen tho Khaldoon said they would say more we have to work with the Prem so I expect just city cleared not much more if cleared maybe a few chances saying we could possibly be not guilty

Meh. I could write it now based on "executives of PL clubs have told me", "an ex-coach of a rival club said", " insiders have indicated", "senior sports lawyers are of the opinion" and the like. You are overestimating how much in the press is informed and how much is purely speculative.

I'd still like to see evidence that exactly the same level and degree of scrutiny and investigation has been applied to the finances of every single club in the PL and that all those clubs have 100% satisfactorily complied with that scrutiny.

I find it incredibly unlikely that they've dragged this on for as long as they have, and without dropping any charges, to not have high confidence some things will stick.

Obviously not always true, but the passed is a good indicator.

So our biggest point is probably CAS.

Our respected posters seem confident, although most add that litigation is risky and not to be over confident.

After UEFA, Ferran got a sit with them and we have had no further issues to a point (Can’t remember but sure someone at UEFA did publicly accuse us of guilt even after).

We have never publicly caused issues with press or UEFA for anything said before that case which went in our favour.

The club will want to win, Pep will fire shots during his press conference and other managers back.

Press will talk about how FFP is finished etc and clubs can do what they want.

Ignoring that we have been found innocent are a well run club.

The club will do no public going after journalists or PL and the biggest 2 fingers we can give is to continue to be successful.

Sound logic when you consider they've just lost an appeal because they brought charges against Leicester despite their rules clearly having a glaring omission which means they couldn't.

The sort of basic point that you would investigate prior to bringing charges. Which of course they did, and decided it would be a sound legal argument to claim that although the rules as written wouldn't bite Leicester, if you use your imagination they really should.
