Yes of course context of life back then is important, you’re right. But life, culture and our societal thinking has moved on a lot sad it’s only 30-40 years ago we’re talking about so not sure why you can’t now agree with me. Plenty of us back then thought he was appalling on the whole with some funny things but nowhere near enough to compensate for how uncomfortable any black/brown people felt

That feeling when, after having to hold it in for ages due to lack of opportunities/ facilities, you finally manage to offload. Absolute bliss. The sense of relief is fantastic.
