Grealish for Doku and I’d be more than happy with that line up
I‘d be happy enough with Grealish but would just go for Doku for a more attacking threat.
Going to be hard enough to break them down anyway - with Bernardo and Grealish (and no De Bruyne) I fear it might all be a bit too laboured and one-paced.

if the intention is for them to park the bus which it probably is then controlled possession football plays right into their hands, doku and savinho in this game can somewhat negate that by beating a man, wriggling out of tight spaces and bringing an element of chaos into the game.

Hit them with high intensity pace move the ball rapid and drag that defensive shape all over the shop.

Not sure if serious…

They’ve been the right-sided backbone of City & England for years. Last game, they made their first starts and were both at fault for Brentford’s first goal in the first minute. Got it. So, we burn them?! What’s that?!
Serious yes but only based on current form and based on recent performances such as Brentford and cup final where they seemed all over the place and putting each other under pressure.. No question about individual ability and what they have done for club in past.stones has had injury issues and Walker other distractions. We have a good squad. Pep seems happy based on his comments after Milan game so I’m sure he will come up with the right solutions more often than not.

I’m stuck in Porthmadog, ot to be more precise Portmeirion this weekend, any suggestions as to where I will be able to watch the match?

Ederson
Akanji Dias Stones Gvardiol
Rodri
Kovavic Foden
Bernardo Haaland Grealish

Think Lewis will be unlucky to miss out given he's been trusted to play against Inter. Walker probably comes in but I'd much rather see the treble season 4 centre back defence. I think Doku's lack of threat on the right will cost him his chance here, as really Bernardo looked like he could do with a rest after 90 mins of pressing on Wednesday.

But I suppose the flipside to that is the threat of having too many risk-takers in the side, which might give them more opportunities to hurt us on the counter.

Savinho IMO is more consistent than Doku and as much as I'd like to see the two terrorizing the Arse simultaneously- I don't think we drop Jack for this game as he has looked good of late IMO.

The set up of:
Doku--Haaland--Savinho
-----Jack------Phil--------
----------Rodri-------------
Gvad--Ruben--John--Aki
Ederson Santana de Moraes

intrigues me but I know Pep wont play Jack as mid- That said swap Doku for Jack in and Gundo in the Mid role. Kova has not put too many feet wrong so him possibly for Gundo- but I'd like the latter for a little more attack-creation at least to start.

Jack----Haaland--Savinho
--------Gundo----Phil--------
------------Rodri-------------
Gvad--Ruben--John--Aki
Ederson Santana de Moraes

Not sure how I lefty out Bernie- maye instea dof Gundo in the second lineup dropping to play along side Rodri at times but able to push forward.

Jack----Haaland--Savinho
-------\Bernie/----Phil------
------------Rodri-------------
Gvad--Ruben--John--Aki
Ederson Santana de Moraes

All that wasted effort to admit I've not a fucking clue.

Would love to wipe the floor with them on Sunday, but I doubt that will happen and l expect like iast season this to be a very tight game. Any win will do and a draw will not be the worst result, but a late deflected winning own goal off Saliba's back side would be nice pay back for last season's Emirates match.

Pep’s media conference absolutely brilliant. He just tells the reporters who try to ask negative questions to just do one. He’s got the measure of them all

Pep’s a Manc. & a true Blue.
My dream is the day this 115 charges gets quashed by us- Pep comes out with a cigar in his mouth and a bottle of Spanish red in the other announcing a 5 year extension.

I'd trade a whole team of players for him.
