Arsenal (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

He should have booked Havertz at the kick off. He has let them get away with stuff and they have took the piss. People should never call Arteta a Pep disciple, he didn't learn all that with us, it's in his nature. Hes a cheat.
He was like that as a player with Everton and Arsenal. He's taken them as far as he can tactically. Still not brave enough to play a centre forward against us, he is beginning to come across as a fraud.
They are a great fit.

I'd like to think that if the positions were reversed, and we were 2-1 up and down to 10 men, we'd be more adventurous than those tarquin twats.

But you've got to ask some fundamental questions of Pep and his staff. Do we not practice drills when teams implement a low block? Fortunately the Grealish & Stones subs paid off but all we seemed to do was pass the ball from side to side. When Savinho had the ball in the wide area, there was no one running into the space behind the full back, and he was forced to play it back inside. There's so little creativity when your midfield is Gundogan, Kovacic and Bernardo. Foden should have been on much earlier.

And how come Arsenal appear to have a plan for corners and can execute it, when it's just hit and hope from us?
I seem to remember a few years ago we had a set piece specialist. There was one season with his coaching we scored more goals from corners than any other team. Unfortunately he left the club. He was not replaced, hence we are now shit at converting corners into goals.

Without joking, I actually thought of his woman when I saw this. His reaction to Arsenal conceding a goal and him blaming her was very worrying. Knob.
Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he had previous where he went mental with her whilst on livestream?

Arsenal,Villa and Brighton plus other teams most likely fully involve there set piece coaches. We don't and obviously don't do much in the training sessions. Credit to the team for sticking at it when it looks like it's slipping away.
JONNY STONES take a bow. CTID

Maybe. But I've never seen City play Leyton Orient.
I have. City played them enough between 1962-63 and 1965-66. The last time was a 2-2 draw at Brisbane Road in May 1966. It was three days after City clnched promotion at Rotherham.

1. Am I missing something on the first goal but they took the free kick a good 10metres from the foul.

2. I thought the blocking rule changed at the start of the season to stop the shit we saw today.
Only posting this after motd as I was hoping to hear this get mentioned....but not a sausage

MOTD just said all is good. FFS

But that said we needed more and didn't give it.

But that said we are still in September, top of the league and hopefully only going to improve.
