PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It amazes me the total ignorance of Carragher, Nevill, Magic Twat, Harris and some no mark ex Everton chair to name but a few.
Step back and look at whats happened since the charges were released.
More sponsors, shit tonne of money invested in the stadium. If were were bang to rights we would have settled and stopped investing knowing we could potentially be relegated. Would Gundo have come back knowing he could be playing in the Championship next year? Would united have hired Berrada knowing he was complicit in fraud? Would Savio have signed up knowing he was playing at Sunderland next year?

Their blind jealousy of our success clouds their judgement on facts and they can't seem to realise its their own clubs fault they haven't been successful. Pathetic.

I hope we destroy them in court. Once and for all.

Jordan and his pals have been warning for quite a while that City obstruct the investigation and will employ the best lawyers to tie the PL in paralysing and costly knots to avoid answering for our breaches of the regulations. And now the media are concerned that the legal bills for the PL are now unaffordably high, so high they will make it impossible for the PL to contribute to the "smaller" clubs (Everton?). I'm a grumpy, biased old sod but this appears to be a simple pack of unsubstantiated rumours to cover the base that, if City do win, it is only because our deplorable tactics, described by the super bright Jordan, have worked, and is yet another example of City's kamikaze spending winning by attrition.

If they win everything, it doesn't cost them much in legal fees. Nothing wrong with raising the stakes and making them think it will cost them a shitload if they get it wrong. Pressure, pressure .....

barzil and saunders this morning talking about charges
brazil 115 must be guilty
saunders nope i think innocent
then some football expert city will join saudi leaugue where there's no money restraints lol
at least thick saunders understands innocent to found otherwise
It's a double act - its not about what they really think.
They choose the topic before hand. Then write the script. One agrees and the other disagrees. Gullible people call in. Job completed.
Every single show they put on (H&J apart as its not that kind of show) has 2 presenters who never agree on any topic. Ever. Understand that and then enjoy the programme for the comedy value that it brings.

His major problem is that fucking horrible scratchy high pitch scouse accent.

Only this. I change to any other channel if he is commentating. I find it hard to even understand what he is saying. And I mean any other channel. Portuguese last time and at least I learned how to say Matteush Noonyesh properly. And, man, did they say it a lot :)

Why are some of you guys actively watching stuff that talks bullshit about City? Then moaning about it! Crazy stuff.

Stop doing it, I did and now I actually enjoy what the club are achieving.
Even if people do watch or listen to any of that shite there hardly going to be balanced arguments that doesn’t get clicks or views , if they wanted someone sensible or knowledgeable then stefan would have his own show instead of the two gobshites that are on a 10am everyday talking shit

This. Take a bow even if you're not called Sheila.

Not true, it's not automatic that the "loser" pays the winner fees, the Neverton case I think the PL were liable for 2/3rds of their legal costs despite Everton pleading guilty, and that sum was north of £5M. The costs in our case will be the GDP of a small country, same for us, so it's fortunate that our owner has a significant presence in such a country :)

I can't see this going to a settlement, unless the PL really to buckle and offer something to City that they agree will also clean a muddied reputation.

I see Etihad is still looking to at around 2025 to go IPO, it probably would have helped our cause if it had been already done but not sure if that's something we could still bring up in the hearing. The finances will become open for scrutiny(as far as i understand) so that investors can look before investing their money. If they have commitments of, for instance, £66m a year but have only been paying £6m a year and letting the Sheikh pay the rest, it would surely be pretty obvious on their books.

Jordan is the mouthpiece of certain PL CEO’s and owners. It was obvious this week that he has had a push to press on certain issues regarding the 115 case.

The blokes integrity has been blown out of the water already this week. His regular snide comments on Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn - and magically it conspires that he’s in bed financially as an investor with Ben Shalom.

I wonder when his football link up will be exposed ?

SJIAC. I have on good authority was wined and dined regularly at the swamp.

You are right he is the mouth piece for certain clubs.

It's not automatic, and yes, every case is different, but it seems it's pretty common for the "losers" to pay a proportion of the "winner"'s costs. Just repeating what the clever people say on here, for example:

"Costs will go with the loser. If City won on everything there is a good chance they would get what is known as “indemnity costs” of 80-90% back. A split decision would make the costs decision trickier. Everton got very lucky on their costs IMO - given their big loss they were lucky to only pay about half of PLs costs".

And

"Separate the charges and topics. Lets say City win on all but cooperation then an assessment would be made on the costs of dealing with those parts of the case. Cooperation is a cheap part of the case - almost all costs are outside of cooperation. If City breach coop the fine will be discrete from the costs and then there will be costs payable on that part of the case. But City should have a strong case for its costs to be paid on the parts where it won. Not impossible to get say a £10m fine for non coop, have to pay £1m of costs for non coop but then get £20m back for its costs in respect of the rest. All illustrative."

It’s 95% scripted. They presenters just read off an autocue.

Troy Deeney walked after a couple of weeks refusing to be the stooge reading scripted sensationalised bollocks painted as opinion.in reality he wasn’t allowed to have his own opinion.

Agbonlahoor and Ohara now play the idiots reading off scripts.

All bullshit

I have seen or heard nothing to convince any logical person that Jordan has ever had any credibility.

his rhetoric appeals to the lamebrains who already have a dog in the fight, and is perfect for the talkshite approach .

Ive said before that jordan hates our owners through sheer jealousy, in his head he should be making business deals and sitting at the table with the likes of our owners, in reality he is shilling for an audience on a crap talk radio station and it eats at him on a daily basis to know that despite all his big words and desperate need to seem intelligent and the person that knows the most in the room that he will never be anything more than a failed chairman and a small fry chancer and he spits his vitriol at people he idolises but knows he can never become.
