I thought a game like that, where they're pressing us so high up, would suit him well, but apparently not.
I don’t think Pep sees him as an option at all. Some won’t agree but IMO, he is now very much in the same situation as Philips was. He will play in the Carabao. He will get 5 mins here and there but as for starting a Prem game, nah, Pep will look at any other option available, including playing others out of position, before Nunes even becomes a consideration.

We’ve been largely fantastic in the transfer market and thank god for that because £100m on Philips and Nunes is atrocious work.

I don't think he has been as poor as some are suggesting ,he has looked ok whenever he has come on the pitch .I don't know why pep hates him .His assist against West ham where he dribbled past 2 players to setup haaland is something few of our midfielders can do

Thought he would've got some minutes today after Tuesday night but Pep just doesn't rate him. 53m on him and 45m on Phillip's looks worse transfer business by the week. Personally I'd give him a start next to Kov against Bratislava, his confidence must be rock bottom

Did you know Pep was overruled on Kounde by Juanma Lillo and we got Ruben Dias instead?

Did you know Pep didn't even know who Julian Alvarez was and Txiki got him based on his South American scout's recommendation?

Did you know Pep didn't even know who Jeremy Doku was and Txiki got him based on his recruitment team's recommendation?

Go over his previous comments in press conferences.. it's quite clear recruitment isn't based on Pep's final word.
Doku will be getting added to the list of bad transfers

Listen Pep sees him everyday so it is what it is, from outside its strange because he has looked decent in the last 2 games he's played. Its an odd situation.

Nah. Doku's got plenty of money in the bank.. and he does exactly what Pep wants him to do.

You can tell when Pep yells at someone and afaik he's never yelled at Doku. Must be going through a Pep transformation.

I think we should look to play him in the CL, particularly in games like tonight. I agree with other posters who question whether he's got the physicality to perform week in week out in the league. The CL is a lot less physical and tends to afford players a bit more time on the ball generally so it's a competition that would help him build some rhythm and confidence in my opinion. Jesus was always very good in the CL but nowhere near as effective in the league and similarly I think it was because he couldn't perform as well against more physical players affording him less time.

All the talent, but looks like he's starting to look as though he thinks he's made it now he's at City, and just resting on his laurels.

Frustrating, as I think he's a really talented player, but don't think he's got the desire to move to the next level.

Most distance covered

Was ok

Although didn’t need to do a lot of defensive work
