Who cares? They're just as shit with him in the side.
This may well be true, but the panel has created another grey area to cheat with, it has put the lawyer on the pitch, as now we will get, is it excessive force, every time a ref makes a decision the PL dislikes.
I hope Villa sue for loss of earnings at the end of the season, as the panel did not have the qualifications to decide if it was excessive force, and it was quite clearly a red, for being out of control, and a red for a studs up challenge.

His comments came across as malicious and full of venom. It was shocking that he was allowed to vent his spleen with no attempt to correct what he said. So John Bishop claims we must be guilty of something based on nothing and we should be ostracised by rival clubs and fans. We should be punished even before the result of the independent hearing. And this from an LFC fan who should know better than most what happens when the media runs a witch-hunt against your club.
What a complete bellend John bishop is
If they charge you with 115 things some of it must be right???????
Maybe just maybe that’s the premier leagues plan, carpet bomb and take any wins you can get.
Typical dipper, can’t win on the pitch so rant about it
Well you scouse ****, I heard many things about Liverpool fans at hillsborough. Does that mean because I heard so many things some must be true…….does it fuck
Thankfully you guys got your day in court and the rightful justice.

May I ask how long it took?
No - because in 1989 I’m sure you’d have just said that thatcher should ban teams from playing against Liverpool for the next 30 years!!

Don't know if it's already been posted but not got time to scan posts. Extremely truthful summary of the APT result in the MEN and the resulting shithousery with what the PL are doing. For once, well done MEN keep it up.

I only ever manage a couple of paragraphs in a MEN story before giving up watching it reload and jump all over the place. As good a website as the Premier League is an organisation

You know, 40 - 50 years ago we didn't have all this bollocks.

Even in the bad old days of hooligans etc, I could get on a train, sit opposite someone, who then clocked my pin badge. It might have been a Chelsea, Villa, Everton or Leeds fan. We'd have a converstion about football. It didn't matter what team it was, what league they were in, fans in them days were educated about the game. Non of this "we're bigger than you" bullshit. Just a converstaion about football in general. Even the write ups in papers by "knowledgable reporters" were well worth a read.

Not anymore.

I hardly know anything about other teams now. I stopped reading/buying papers many moons ago. I deliberately avoid other fans because I know what's coming. It's just a merry-go-round of click bait tossers who have no idea or are just stirring the pot trying to score points.

Fuck'em all.

I dunno that too much has changed in the real world? If we bump into opposition fans in a pub or wherever these days, still the vast majority of times you have a civilised conversation about football. Everyone talks about which fans they ‘hate’ and nonsense like that. But I think there’s still a mutual respect amongst most match going fans towards each other.

If the very same fans you’ve had a friendly chat with get in the ground and start singing.. Where were when you were shit? And then get on their phones and start screaming 115 all over Twitter, it doesn’t really change that.

I dont watch the BBC and others now in general as the bias from left and right is shocking, try to pick up what I can whilst not being indoctrinated but very difficult.

Up until this week I did visit the BBC website but after this week I honestly feel they are not fit for purpose so I wonder does anyone have a good website link for keeping updated on transfers in the UK and Europe?

Why is anyone even remotely interested in what John Bishop has to say?
Its John Bishop FFS!

What makes me smile, is that all these supposed "respected" reporters, are actively sat on Twitter arguing pedantic points about "who has won" and trying to put a negative City slant on their output.

Ridiculous playground stuff.

For one or more reporters, there are several hard-hitting stories sitting right there in the report on the amateurish and contemptuous attitude of the PL towards City and their sponsorship deals, the risk of Arsenal's "loans", the attempt to bring in rulings affecting Newcastle, 5 days after their takeover, (which in itself has likely other connotations); the allegations about Starmer being lobbied, etc, etc.

Absolutely ripe for someone to make a huge name for themselves.

Instead, they sit there churning out repetitive non/mis-information, solely to get people's backs up.

They may be sitting there having a little chuckle knowing full well that they are winding people up, but seriously, is this what fully grown men, purporting to be reporters/journos are nowadays?

Surely, there must come a point in time when you must look at what your role has become and think, "Thirty years as a reporter, working on serious stories and events, and this is what I have become?"

Can I 'double like' this contribution and the illumination it offers to the (ungrateful) UK sports media, not that they'll ever take up any such investigations you suggest.

Nay, can I 'thrice like' it?!

The Torygraph reporting this morning that 'Rivals slam City over new revolt'(?) and we are accused of trying to run the PL. Well, the Dippers, Rags 'n the Arse have been running it since it's inception and look at the shite state it's in! They miss the whole point in trying to discredit the club. The point is that the rules governing APT which 'our rivals' have put in place are illegal, unfair and unreasonable! But that is exactly why they were put there so that certain clubs could maintain their status and prevent other clubs getting a foothold. The outpouring of fury under the guise of probity is laughable!

If this was the Wild West someone could just put a bounty on Ian Herbert and the world would very soon be a better place

Sadly it isn’t but given that City would happily ban fans these days for the most minor of misdemeanours I really don’t understand why that **** isn’t made persona non grata at the Etihad for his relentless barrage of misinformation, lies and smears against our club

If it goes to a fans vote, can I suggest a bullet to the head.

There would be less fuss made in the media .

Just laughing at the Mail.
Something like 5 or 6 headlines about Klopp’s new job.
Needs to be renamed from the Daily Fail to the Daily Flopp.

I see the journalists of most papers sticking the knife today, can you imagine the headlines if we had not proved that its rules were unlawful. The cartel obviously still having the media in their pockets. They are absolutely frightened to death of little ol’ City.

The Mirror's latest work of fiction is mindblowingly stupid on every level. It should result in an immediate ban from all club press activity.
