Was it right to give a goal?

Just the usual, a goal is given correctly for us and its all over the place in the media, there are discussions, headline news, comments open for bile by others etc etc
Arsenals goal v us was far far worse, an actual foul on Ederson and its what they do at every set piece yet absolutely fuck all by the media on it

God this is hard work

1 I said the goal should stand

2 Silva backed in as the corner was being taken, if a keeper is for example thrown to the ground while a corner is about to be taken or after its taken 2 things happen, a retake or a foul is given so it is possible fo be penalised before a ball is kicked.

You can’t concede a foul while the ball isn’t in play.

Of course it’s a goal. They (pundits) are only disagreeing to create a drama and keep themselves relevant . If the refs and VAR did their jobs properly they would hardly have anything to talk about cause most of them lack any knowledge about the game beyond the basics. If not at the game I never ever watch on sky, they are all full of shit. Including micah.
Johnny johnny stooooooonnnneeeesssss!!
Cmon city

He's obviously not impacting the keeper in the offside position, and if you're giving a foul for him slightly backing into the keeper then no one is ever scoring from a corner ever again.

He wasn't offside when the contact was made it was a corner and when stones headed it he was on the floor.
Should of been a pen for the push on Bernardoooooo

I’m really surprised to find most City fans think it was a perfectly legitimate goal.
Most? I out of 250 thinks it should have been disallowed. Var involved in the other game a lot too. Dippers starting to look like Gloop 2.0 but for me they are still missing something. Arsenal will be our benchmark again.

Sly threatening to withdraw Sturridge and Richards appearance fees if they don't tow the 'city are cheats' line.
Fucking laughable how sad that red organisation is

Exactly, Eddie should have been stronger & more determined just like the wolves keeper today, the difference is the reaction by the media who didnt mention it when we conceded but by tommorow will probably calling for a replay of todays game :-)
Totally disagree. The two Arsenal players ran in front of him and deliberately obstructed him with no attempt to play the ball. Thats a foul according to the laws of the game. The weren't placed in front of him when the corner was taken.

Dippers get a helping hand….chavs & Tarquins don’t…….murderers are the main threat and also our poor defending

Do we really need a thread to convince ourselves ?
Where’s the third option -Never in doubt ?

The PL would have us believe the goal was initially disallow for off side. However, at no point did the ref raise his arm to indicate an indirect free kick. Therefore, I assume the goal was allowed. However, I did watch the game after 8 pints so could have missed the arm being raised
