The rancid bitterness of the Telegraph's "football" journalist, cartel loving, cadre seeps from the pores of every article.

They wake, work and sleep in pain. Continually bemoaning the fact that their beloved clubs, the ones they also support, are no longer good enough to scoop up footballs top prize on a regular basis.

Long gone are the days of brilliant football reporting at the Telegraph from the 70s and 80s. Peter Green, Manchester football reporter was an amazing read. City, United or local club.

The rot set in the 90s.

By the 00s they started employing fanzine writers (of the then top clubs) for clicks to complete the descent into first mediocrity, then decay.

So sad for a once great sports newspaper.

Your final line sums it up for so many of us.. and not just the MEN but the whole, rancid mess that makes up the UK football press and media.

I grew up reading the likes of national sports/football observers such as Neville Cardus, Hugh McIlvanney and Michael Parkinson, together with local writers of the calibre of Eric Todd, Peter Gardner and (yes!) David Meek.

All of them were journalists above everything else and they were (mostly) objective in how they brought match reports and other related sports/football stories to their readers.

Today's childish scribblers, with the odd exception such as Martin Samuel, are light-years behind those named above when it comes to journalistic talent and integrity.

I subscribe to the telegraph and generally swerve the reports and go straight to comments. It's a sight to behold, the general readership are in denial,, it's like reading rawk or redcaf, love it.

So do I - I posted the same comment on the Wailing and gnashing of teeth article about City breaking a record.
So you will know who I am if you read it.

The interview Bajkowski gave on Talksport yesterday was truly bizarre.

Basically only spoke about 115, City getting relegated and Pep wanting to fuck off.

Not the first time he’s been on Talksport with snide City comments either.

Who on earth does he think will buy his book when he goes on national radio with what seems the sole intention of pissing off blues.

Bizarre

What is odd is that if you listen to the MEN City podcast he is very much pro-City.

As you’d expect on a City podcast.

So the question is, does he moderate his anti-City opinions for a pro-City audience or does he moderate his pro-City opinions for an anti-City audience?

Talking of pro City podcasts have I missed something when I ask why the BBC dropped We're Not Really Here ?

The bitterness of some fans is very funny to hear.

Talksport have opened on Jim and Simon’s show with a debate as to just what we (the PL) have in Haaland.

When he goes on Hawksby and Jacob’s he just seems to agree with the snide City theme they run on that show.

Yesterday he’s on to talk about his new City book and the first question from Jacob’s is 115 taints everything - and he just agrees - and it gets progressively worse during the section.

Why he would go on that show and ensure any blues listening won’t go anywhere near his book is absolute madness. Especially if as you say he is normally fair and balanced on other pods etc.

you just know when all over before they dream up some other chatges they just say but you and i know what they got away with

Enjoyed TNTs coverage tonight. All were emphatic about us and no downbeat rhetoric like we get with the cartel brothers on Sky.
Probably because tehy were the 2nd or 3rd tier reporting team with the main culprits being utilised for other matches. People who just want to do their job properly a they know they'll not be at the "best matches".

Either way, it was an enjoyable watch where I didn’t feel the need to turn to an alternative overseas channel. May the 3rd tier reporting continue.

Want to guess which bbc "reporter" wrote this?

"Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has cheekily claimed he is not giving up hope of earning a title-winning bonus from 2018 because of Manchester City's ongoing legal case with the Premier League.

United finished second to City in the 2017-18 season, which was Mourinho's final full campaign in charge at Old Trafford.

City, who have since won four consecutive league titles, have been accused of breaking the Premier League's financial rules between 2009 and 2018.

City deny the 115 charges and expect an outcome from the case by early 2025.

Should the club be found guilty, they could be stripped of silverware won during the period concerned."

At this point simon stone is just a **** fan.

I don't mind anyone in the media using the phrase "noisy neighbours".
It was a put-down remark by the GPC, that was perceived by the media, at the time, as being a comical remark.
It neatly sums up the arrogance of the GPC, his club and also his pals in the media...
The arrogance of him, to say “not in my lifetime” who the fuck does he think he is.He left that lot in a mess and he knew it.

Bajkowski is a rag, he admitted it on one of his podcasts.
