PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Both sides will have a feel for how it’s gone.

Won’t take long before the hints start leaking out.
Even if that happens it will be meaningless. The only thing that matters is the panel's released judgment and that is months off.

Either side might feel it has gone in their favour but the panel could easily come up with one of these...

That's not what the rules say, but who knows how that would work in practice? Which is always the problem with complicated rules. Just look at offside and handball.

Things always get too complicated when people try to be too clever.

FMV isn’t as objective as the PL imply. You just know Nielsen will be doing what the PL require and placing huge emphasis on history etc….

It won’t be “meaningless” city will have a very clear indication of which way the wind has blown.

Your other bit is just incredibly unlikely.

A both very important and interesting topic. No doubt. But I am thoroughly uninformed about it. And there is over 70 thousand replies and around 8 thousand pages. Not that I wouldn't like to get into it.

Why after the trial will the verdict take so long? I thought that was the point of the trial the result was there and then?

Yep. Objectives achieved. The charges have caused uncertainty which has directly or indirectly led to the current situation
If that is the case, they won’t release the outcome until next March, then they will know that we are not going to win the league.

After the panel has heard the case they have to go away and consider the evidence and come to a verdict.
They then have to write a judgement, perhaps with legal advice, to support their view which they hope will leave no room for appeal.
this doesn't happen overnight.

The case started on 16th Sept, which means next week is the ninth week out of ten scheduled

I've seen some people saying next week is the tenth week
