Not really, the Missiles that NK and Iran have been supplying are there cutting edge stuff, ATACMS that Ukraine have been given are 30 year old surplus.

the west hasn't given anything close to the cutting edge.

While ATACMs might be comparible/better than Iran/NK's best its not even close to what could be supplied.

I just dont see this threat as anything more than any other thread from Putin.

If Russia does anything in terms of retaliation against the US it will be something small, probably in the Syria area of the world where there have been rising tensions between Russia and US for a while and Russia has been playing games with the US testing boundries etc.

IIRC that included the huge ammo dumps that went up not so long ago.

As I understand it, Russia lacks the capability to shoot down this sort of missile at all (they're supersonic rockets, not subsonic cruise missiles). Could be wrong though.

they have intercepted them in the past. this was the cluster munitions from an ATACMS that was intercepted hitting a beach in the summer.
