He is 28 not 35. of course he had a season long injury. But where is that going against what I said? He just isn’t who he used to be due to that injury. Also I don’t think he wants Pep in his ears 24/7 during games. He is how many years older and had a seson long injury , he might not be tearing down the wing but other skills will have matured

If he's had a season long injury we are nailed on to go for him in the transfer window.
For a reason.I’d love Sane back, however Pep used to berate him from the touchline every game.
When Bobb comes back I suspect he will be our best winger. He may even end up being our highest scoring winger come season end unless the others pick up when they are fully fit.Once Bobb comes back, we will realize this isn't necessary.
We have enough wingers in the team, there is 4 of them.
We just got unlucky that 3 got injured, but we can't panic overbuy in positions when these rare occassions happen.
Well Savinho and Bobb are for RW, which is where Sane plays, so he isnt needed there. When Bobb comes back I suspect he will be our best winger. He may even end up being our highest scoring winger come season end unless the others pick up when they are fully fit.
For that reason come summer we will need another winger and one we have will need to move on.
Your previous post (apologies different transfer thread) about midfield and defence I thought was spot on.
I thought the same, possibly the highest ceiling I've seen in a winger, talent by the bucketload, but questionable mentality. I'd still have him back in a heartbeat as he's head and shoulders over what we have now.For a reason.
A wonderfully talented player, who could win games on his own, he could have been one of the greats but for me he has not got that elite, winning mentality.
Too hit or miss, so sad, I thought he could have gone on to be a Ballon d'or winner.

Sane hasnt played LW (Grealish and Doku) in years.
Was* betterCould argue that Sane is better than all 4 of them.
I'd prefer Sane's direct approach than our current wingers. Doku and Savinho seem to be vying for the Jesus Navas award for cutting inside and blasting utter dross.Fan of him and I wanted him back couple of years ago, not now. We already have Doku, Savinho and Bobb whom we can develop into great wingers.
Everything you've stated above is history. If he was available at a decent price we should be all over him. (IMO).
He scored some crucial goals for City. Him and Sterling were unbelievably good at getting in at the back post for each other.
Scored some cracking goals, especially vs The Scousers and Arsenal!!
