If ever there was a game which tells you everything about Rico, that was it. 75 mins with nothing to do, other than be tidy on the ball against absolute shite opposition and he’s fine. As soon as it turned and Feyenoord started having a go, it all falls to pieces. That 3rd goal, he played them all onside but the worst part… he turned his fucking back on the line.

He worked much harder and did the basics better, won tackles, but he’s so fucking boring on the ball. Pep was doing his nut at him from the touchline for not passing through the lines, slapping his legs in frustration at him.
