All the problems stem from the club board and not reinvesting every season win/lose trophies, they have allowed the team to age and become stale
and second half. Passing to Akanji is like passing to a brick wall, it just bounces straight back to youI wouldn't be so sure. He sounds defeated in that interview and baffled as to what more he can do. One thing for sure is all the tactics in the world won't help when somebody makes criminal mistakes like Gvardiol did. He wasn't the only one, Akanji almost cost us in the first half too.
That's just in hindsight.
There were plenty of people in the match thread that wanted Gundogan off and people questioning all week why McAtee doesn't start.
It was 3 mistakes and they capitalised on all of them.
It happens. But we didn't lose.
Complete nonsense.hilarious that some on here will blame the players and not Pep.
If you make 3 subs on 75 mins at 3-0 and draw 3-3 that is on the managers toes.
Something rotten in that dressing room and the buck stops at one man. Well 2 actually - Txiki should be nowhere near the club when they look to sign somebody to save the season in January. LFC Utd Villa coming up in December and every club in Europe knows the weaknesses that can be exploited in this City team.
Pep's reaction was way over the top. A serious lack of composure and a complete inability to settle his squad down...this show is over my friends...If you were a DOF and you see the manager staring, head down at the ground for nearly a minute when his team is leading 3-1 and they need some guidance and inspiration to see them over the line after FIVE consecutive losses, you may think the manager isn't doing his job properly.
I can't see where our next victory is coming fromI think Pep may be regretting signing that contract now, won't be surprised if he goes.
I'm still stunned by that. At the moment every single mistake leads to a goal and that for me is the problem. We are not clinical with mistakes offered to us, whereas opposing sides are.
How many times has he come steaming out and won it..it's a decision he has to make because the defence has parted like the red sea..Come on! How many times has he coming steaming out 25 yards out of his area and got nowhere near the ball, I’ll tell you, too many times. If you cannot guarantee 100% that you can meet that ball and clear then you don’t go for it
I'm with you on everything except Haaland being off form. I thought he's looked decent, despite not being prolific. Feed him scraps and he ain't gonna do much. 1 great ball across the 6 yard box and he bust his gut to put it in for the third goal.Absolutely pathetic and ANOTHER example of a couple of quick goals leading to a total collapse. Real, Lyon, Liverpool, Monaco, Sporting, Feyenoord have all shown what to do. Brighton, Bournemouth and Spurs now as well.
The teams picking us off aren't top class, they just play with pace. We've been found out and no player is prepared to stand up as a Captain and rally the players.
I just don't see our defence working well enough to stop any team at the minute. Quite simply, it's rubbish. The structure of the team is well off and it's every player who looks well below their best.
I don't know what we have to do against Liverpool but we can't defend, don't create clear chances and Haalands off form. Our passing is slow, dull and predictable and just ineffective.
Pep needs to roast the fucking lot of them in that dressing room. We need BIG changes.
The subs changed the dynamic of the team as a whole.Complete nonsense.
Not one of the subs were at fault for the individual errors that led to the goals.
Ake will have to start and hopefully see the game through. There's no way Gvardiol can start after tonight and Spurs.Who is going to play at LB if Pep drops Gvardiol? Ake who can't finish a game or Lewis?
We have been shit all season bar maybe 2/3 games. The game at home against Southampton was where I saw the writing on the wall, absolutely pathetic display that foretold what was to come.
I would normally agree but that collapse was inexcusable. Supporters are doing their bit.Any moaning **** can leave here and find another club. I'm staying put and behind the team and the club whatever happens. You should be too. If you're not fuck off and shut the door on your way out.

Absolutely not. Unbelievable that tonight from him to add to his Saturday shitshow.Ake will have to start and hopefully see the game through. There's no way Gvardiol can start after tonight and Spurs.
