Haha Gregg fucking Wallace, obvious he was a massive wrongun when he did that weird newspaper article ages ago about his motivation and mindfulness and other such shite. It was like reading a script to a Stephen Bartlett podcast (who I would also put my house on being a massive nonce/pervert, 100% iron clad guaranteed).

I always got the vibe that Mr Bartlett preferred the company of men.

13 other women have complained with some of them up to 2022, we also know that more women will come foward once the first ones do, co workers and contestants alike

When are you men going to fucking learn what girls and women have to put up with all their lives from men who think they have a right to sexual harass them . Until you men call it out things will never change , grow a fucking backbone

100%. Every woman has had to put up with this nonsense from men. Weird, creepy, inadequate men who feel they have a right to make a woman feel uncomfortable.

Absolutely delighted he’s now known for what he is, a proper wrong un.

Apparently wandered around Masterchef with a sock over his cock, ffs that's a hygiene issue for starters when there's food involved. Even Richard Keys didn't do that before he was sacked off Sky.

Never particularly watched GW's programmes but beginning to think TV, in particular light entertainment, attracts a higher ratio of wrong un's than other industries. Huw Edwards, Schofield, Blades, Dayton, Savile, Stuart Hall, Jenas etc

I what world is it wrong to walk around with a sock on your cock?

Maybe it was pigs in blankets week.

MasterChef is a huge brand shown and licensed into hundreds of countries. Wark is a respected journalist but that probably pales into insignificance in relation to the value of the MC property to a variety of powerful execs. Wallace presumably was view as 'talent' and an integral part of the show which he would have known so at first glance it simply looks like abuse of power by someone who seems to be a quite unpleasant individual..
How come she can embarrass politicians with her knowledge and skill but can't tell Wallace to stop telling crude jokes ?

Massive **** for what we all laughed about at the start of this thread and rightly so it was funny. Tatering someone for jokes told by obviously a bit of a sad middle aged gimp 10+yrs ago? We could all be there and luckily not called about the lead of Newsnight who presented it nightly in all that time and said nothing? Perspective

Well the honest answer to that is I don't know because I was speculating. But my speculation was based on the fact that she would have been in his environment, one which is quite different from the one she would be used to and that the BBC probably don't value their journalists, even the good ones, anywhere near as highly as the people who drive additional revenues through their big programmes. To put it in context, at the time of the alleged accusations Newsnight was running at a few hundred thousand viewers a night with it's audience having nearly halved and it's future was under discussion whereas MasterChef was pulling in many millions and was firmly established as one of the BBCs top shows. In those circumstances I think its entirely possible that a BBC employee of a threatened niche programme didn't feel able to call out one of the stars of one of the major programmes especially as he strikes me as the vindictive type who takes himself far too seriously to be taken down a peg or two. Wark was expected and paid to hold politicians to account, but I'd not be surprised if she didn't feel they would back her to bring one of it's major pieces of IP to account.

Edit: it also occurs to me that this happened around the time Newsnight was in the headlines for dropping the Saville investigation and if I remember rightly there were accusations flying that management lent on editorial teams and then threw them under the bus. Again speculation on my part but if you are working in an environment where you can see firsthand how an investigation of a horrific predator is being spiked, what's the likelihood you're going to feel empowered to knee Wallace in the knackers?

What’s the other show with the old bird who was asking a cook let’s have a look at your beaver and everybody roared laughing and another celeb said I hope it’s moist because I don’t like a dry beaver. What’s the difference might as well use bots for all programmers because no fucker is allowed to talk innuendos.
