PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It would be the worst possible way to get rid of the charges, fairness and transparency should be the order of the day here not diplomatic shenanigans.

I couldn't care less in all honesty.

In the eyes of those who won't hear the truth and don't want to know the truth, the narrative has been set already. There's still those who think we only "got off" at CAS due to time barring. You can't educate those who don't want to learn. So f*ck them, they don't matter.

I just want my club to come out of this in a position of strength, ready to carry on being successful. The hater can carry on hating.

These are my thoughts too. If City execs knew they had acted in the manner in which they're alleged, they wouldn't risk allowing an independent commission to make that ruling. It'd have been admitted with compromise and settlement reached involving diplomatic relations - a long time ago.

Just guesswork of course.

Personally I couldn't care less how it happens so long as this shit that's been hanging over us for years stops. The media and moronic fans of other clubs will twist it how they want anyway as you say. We and some of the more enlightened fans of other clubs see it for what it is. An attempt by the old elite here and in Europe to stop us at any cost and smear our good name. We have only ever tried to invest in.our club and improve it, something the cartel could do freely for years until we became competition. Fuck them.

We had a football culture and the older ones know (Could include you mate) that there was a begrudging admiration for the best sides before this PL shitstorm happened in 1992.

Now we have half the stadium not understanding English footballing customs and are quite prepared to tear down clubs that they don't support using lies and misinformation that they know not to be true but will use it anyway because it's a game to them.

Makes you wonder what they would feel like if a group of people from another country went to their countries to shit on their sporting culture.

I think the point is that if the PL don't have cogent evidence of their own then they're beyond stupid to take City on because the ramifications for them if they can't land any of the main charges could be very damaging for them.

The problem is that the club should sue the arse of him and others who spout shit like this, if he said it after we had been found guilty that's different but he's just slurring us with shit.

But the club will do the sum total of nowt, it's the fans who get the lecture at half time anyone above fan level gets a free ride to be a **** from the club.

Masters and cohorts will need removing from the PL in disgrace to demonstrate a cleansing of the issues and machinations currently destroying their administration.

The strength of the cabal needs to be broken in the process as their influence is not in the interests of the PL as a whole, which should be the primary objective.

For too long, the US cartel has been a destructive and self-driven element, thriving at the expense of others.

That hold has to be weakened and controlled not slavishly
followed and obeyed by weak and corrupt individuals.
 
Chelsea were fined £8m by UEFA for under the table payments they admitted despite most of the offences being time-barred had they reached Court. This suggests there were A LOT of shady dealings going during Abramovich's time and Mourinho did not win his titles "fairly and cleanly" at all as has been admitted by Chelsea themselves. Maybe someone should point this out to old PEG!

My guess is that the Premier League are still investigating Chelsea. More allegations have surfaced on top of what they've admitted to so perhaps that's being looked at as well.

You're right though - few seem to care that Chelsea, as things stand, are actually more guilty than City are, given that they've admitted to something and we've consistently maintained that we're innocent.

The UEFA fine was for offences between 2012-2019. The new owners disclosed that partial financial information had been submitted and so "guilt" admitted by Chelsea. Jose last won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2014/2015
