Although you are correct, the history of any club isnt relevant as to the size of the club and also the size of the club isnt relevant, the fact is as an overseer and supposed arbitrator of the rules he is supposed to treat all clubs equally and even handedly so to refer to them as small clubs shows he isnt fit for purpose, can you imagine if the police started referring to a certain set of people as thieving, murdering, jibbing, whining grief hungry cunts there would be outrage because while we all know who they are talking about the arbitrator of rules have to treat everyone even handedly regardless of perception.Forest won the EC when it was more difficult to win (one bad game and your out) with an elite manager, Everton have a great history.For Masters to call them "small " clubs is unforgivable and clearly illustrates his lack of professionalism
No doubt our brief will major on this aspect. It does seem so unlikely.I think we would, and should, all join in sending a vote of thanks and congratulations to Stefan for an excellent explanation. Everything he said, he has said before but the arguments are still convincing and his delivery avoids, of course, the temper and frustration which pervades many of our posts. Excellently presented despite the interruptions from Simon Jordan, who really has trouble with questions of disclosure.
Before our hearing at CAS I posted in to ask why so many fans - and so many City fans- seemed to trust UEFA's claims of our "guilt" rather than City's protestations of innocence. Claims of a UEFA "smoking gun" were unfounded and we were right to trust those who own and run our club. CAS reached the same conclusion and what Stefan reminded us of is that CAS drew attention to the gravity and scale of the charges and concluded that it was impossible to believe that so many people of the highest integrity were prepared to lie, deceive and cheat such a large number of reputable professionals over such a long period of time. But this is what the PL are hoping to do. But not in court, simply in an independent commission. This is, as Stefan said "a very big call". Hearing Stefan I felt a surge of renewed confidence and reassurance.
Maybe so, but he's got a legal background too, so I suppose he's used to the underhand tactics people try and use to derail the opposition. Maybe he was in lawyer mode, as much as we would have liked him to respond differently, he's trying to be super objective about this. I see the logic in that, without that he will be dismissed because of his links and who he supports but I don't think he was expecting them to do him so dirty and misrepresent his points by only taking the soundbites they like. They have little interest in objectivity as an organisation IMO.
While we are on the subject of objectivity. Simon was so desperate to pull Stefan up on something, that he corrected him by saying 'objective' and was comfortably smug with himself about it afterwards... Which is bad enough on it's own, it's petty and unnecessary when you know what they meant. He misspeaks himself a lot and he'd take it personally if someone did that to him. He'll even complain when someone interrupts him back... He has everything his way on that platform. The thing is, having listened back to what Stefan said, I'm fairly certain he said "but someone that's objective" after all, it was Simon who misheard it because of how fast it was spoken.

I get that mate, but the gist of their accusations have all been addressed through UEFA/CAS. Why is there this case/115 charges if it’s been proven incorrect to a sufficient degree?If we are found guilty. The prem is calling some pretty big organisations into question and calling out someone for lying because that's what it ammounts to, is pretty damn serious shit. If, and there's that little word again we are found innocent, then some big players are for the chop in the FA. Just hoping the initials FA stands for fuck all in evidence.!!
