United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I'm upset with the result but I'm not upse

I think there's a case that having to motivate a team after winning the league four years on the bounce is unchartered territory and I don't know that anyone could do it.

I honestly just think it's time for a massive freshen up and I think that's a normal and fine opinion to have without needing to get personal about players' integrity.
The refresh needs to start with the coach in my opinion

That's your comeback- as if that's the point I am making- I'm talking about the muppets suggesting that they know more than pep guardiola as to how to set up the team that's won everything over the last 7 years. You probably fall into that category considering you are offended
I'm not offended I'm agreeing. Seeing something deemed 'below par' can't be called out unless you have played at that level is the point right?

That last paragraph, are you pissed? Unbelievable.

WHY ?

Why Pep keeps coming out saying the same old shit about he needs his players back after we have lost ? Look play the EDS lads play some Youth players stop saying the same old shit,

Give the young lads a chance that way if you lose then it would be ok to say i need my players back
What the fuck was Nunes doing at right-wing ?? was the left back cover in Pep master plan

Today was shocking, let's call it right here
What was the plan ? where was the press and closing down players, shot on target or movement

Pep wants the sack ??

Over the years there has been some stupidity posted on here, but your comment is utterly ludicrous.

A more plausible scenario is that he tells Khaldoon that he' ll leave at the end of the season and for him (Khaldoon) to get on and sign his replacement up.

It allows for an orderly, confidential process, and may be best for all parties.

Twixt, get behind the (knackered) team and coach, theyve given us some of the greatest football experiences of our lives.
This is what's going to happen. We were talking about this at Fresno Cityzens watch party. Pep will finish the season but ask for his release. They'll come to some agreement on the contract and he can go rest. I think Pep needs a break. I agree he's knackered. Ederson, KDB, Bernardo, Walker, Stones, Gundogan, Carson - its tough to say this but they need to be moved on. They're legends. But its time. I'll always support the boys but we've held onto these guys one season too long.

Are we debating nunes or the fact that my point was around the knobs even trying to suggest that we would be better off without pep

You said does he want to be sacked, a ridiculous statement.

It's difficult to see how Pep can turn things around from here and I'm normally the most positive about our current situation. Maybe tomorrow I'll think differently but I just cannot see a solution to the adding up of the losses. The rot is not stopping. I thought Forest was a watershed but the injuries accrued from that game put us back further. Akanji and Ake are not back 100% fully fit until January at least. Had we had one of those 2 today we would have won. Maybe he should give himself until end January , sign a central defender as cover for Akanji and/or Ake( because they can be injured again by season end) and a DM and then if it is still not working have a look at what would be the inevitable.
There is no solution to this

The players are done.....big players are finished....been saying it since the start of the season....Yes we are missing rodri BUT there is a bigger set of problems...
KDB, Gundo are both finished...for me I would drop them both now and play kids in their place for the rest of the season....they are absolutely pointless and we are playing with two less players in midfield every week.....they have been exposed time and time again week in and out....not just today - a better team would have scored more against us today and taken the game to us from the off.
Grealish -Ive said from day one with him - he offers zero attack or defensively. - he is the biggest mistake our club have ever made post takeover.
Walker - everyone can see it - he is done....he has lost confidence and he knows it as well....and the other solution in rico is no bettter if not worse.

Stones and AKe are pointless at this point also as they cannot stay fit for more than a few weeks at a time...less with Stones.

The problems are huge and are way bigger than the game today - they have been there all season for everyone to see. ...no midfield and no fullbacks.....

A huge rebuild is needed in the summer and it is not going to happen over the winter period.

Embarrassingly emotional thread.

That last mad 5 minutes aside we were much the better side. That 5 minutes doesn’t happen and everyone’s buzzing saying we’ve steadied the ship etc.

You can’t blame Pep for Nunes being a **** for their first. You can’t blame Pep for no one putting pressure on the ball for a good 5 seconds before Martinez puts Amad in for the second. You can’t blame Pep for Ederson (again) making a complete **** of himself by rushing out when he had no chance of getting it,

Mad, ridiculous individual errors. That’s it. Fuck all to do with Pep.

I suggest some of you log off and sleep on it you sound like 6 year old girls.
We were shite. For 88 mins we were slightly less shite than them, then for 2 minutes we were woefully shite.

Tonight we were beaten at home by the worse united team ive seen in my lifetimes. To say we were “much the better side” is grasping at straws

Your point......

Fickle fans- gve your head a wobble acting as if anyone on here has the first clue about football to the level these players/manager are playing at- self inflated opinions of yourselves and what you think you deserve to see

Surely Nunes falls under that or is he exempt?

At least we've got our beloved 'Typical City' nickname back again. Fuckin hell I'm down. I have no words for that turgid, abject shite! I'm not going in on Nunez, the fuckin lot of em need horse whipping. Cowards. Villa next and to say I'm not looking forward to that is a fucking understatement. I chose the wrong day to stop sniffing glue! :(

He was well capable of clearing it. You think a proper defender would try and back heel it? FFS were not in training, this is a real game. Great header for the goal but hes a total liability in defence.
Said it from early on after we signed him. He's crap. Feel he's mentally weak.

We weren't the much better side. You've got some blue blinkers on, which is fine, because we're all City fans. But speaking objectively, it was an even game up until their concerted pressure in the last twenty minutes; at which point we crumbled.

Pep is unsackable in everybody's eyes including mine or it's the only way he can leave, he is not a quitter and can not walk away

The team lacks competition.

In the last 10 years of Pep, if you made a single mistake you were on the bench the next match. Regardless of how many goals you'd bagged.

We need that competition back where players strive for excellent, and fear the bench!!
