I personally have never been big on the idea of Zubimendi. Bruno G now, that’s a tough one. Would have been ideal but it is what it is.

Ederson from Atalanta, Reijndeers from Milan. Only issue with them is a case of CL and mid season so hard to convince, money won’t be an issue for either. Our scouts have got a tricky situation on their hands but well paid as they are finally time to pull through and land us the right profiles.

I also think even if we were to be charged, surely now is the time to insure against that and make ourselves as strong as possible. Spend hundreds of millions, just give any signings some clause they can leave if we go down or something, it shouldn’t be that hard to get deals done. Fucking spend!

The money is there. We’ve all seen the financial records. If we don’t spend I’m honestly worried about the charges

Yes, because transfers are down to what we want and just picking players like a game.This is the real world you can't just pick and choose who you want when you want.

I can't believe I am saying this, but maybe it would be for the best long-term if Villa smash us. Maybe, just maybe, our board would wake the fuck up...
 
If we ain't getting a top level player then honestly I'd just take someone who can run all day and just be hard to score against and scrape top 4
 
Glad we aren’t after Bruno as he isn’t good enough imo. Too slow which would not help us/

Does feel the club don’t want to spend money right now. Been that way for a few years now. Obsessed with net spend and how others perceive us

People need to understand that 99% of what he posts is him as a fan just commenting on stuff around the club. Occasionally he will be told something that he will post in good faith, but absolutely nothing should be taken as gospel. Not sure how people haven't understood this by now

Jeez, that last paragraph makes no sense.

Being charged could make it tough to get back but we have give ourselves lots of leeway to help.

You now want to spend that leeway whilst then giving these players an out our current ones don’t have.

I’m not saying don’t spend we’re clearly need a DCM and a RB.

But I imagine we’ll make do @ RB just get a DCM, the young Argentine and Bobb back.

Italian clubs always listen to the money if it’s good. Atalanta won’t reject a huge sum even if they are in a title race same with Milan. I’ve thought from the start we’d go Italy.
 
Starting to think that despite City’s briefings to the contrary the 115 are having an impact on recruitment, certainly in January. Why move in January when you could be joining a club about to relegated.

When Rodri got injured we should have locked in a midfielder. Looks like the main targets are missed and we know how badly second choices go. Unless we add a proper DM we won’t make top 4.

This better be true because if we don't want Zubimendi/Bruno, then it has to be Reijnders/Ederson, surely?

Of course the charges has a negative impact on recruitment. One would have to have an extremely naive and/or biased view to think it doesn't.
