His twitter bio is literally "Occasionally right, occasionally wrong, occasionally 'informed' opinion and Blue."

He IS a journalist. His track record IS proof that he has got nuggets of "Inside info" pretty consistently over the years. Like any other journalist he knows only what he is told.

His track record also shows that he is pretty far away from being the most reliable in getting fed info on how far along transfers are. But it is completely relatable that a City fan with connections gets giddy if he hears good news. His threads on here over the years has been great fun, and will hopefully continue. But people should be smart enough to seek out what they are 100% confident in themselves.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Listen, I have never found him reliable enough to put any stock into what he is saying. But not sure why anyone would be upset over what he is doing
Yep, basically harmless. Used to be a protected species on here though with a small cult following that would hound anyone that doubted their prophet.

The issue isn’t Tolmie, it’s those that hound him aggressively over what he gets it wrong and those that hound the people that say that he’s not worth listening to. Pointless Tit for tat really

Presuming this is Tolmie we're talking about then he was a journalist but is now working with disadvantaged(?) kids but still has connections.

I've no idea why other posters seem happy to join in a pile on but he's always said that things change. If people can't handle the fact that he's not actually Txiki then they need to stop reading his posts.

Even new signings will struggle to make a real impact in our current state. We have totally fucked up in the summer but it is no good in trying to scramble for new signing now either.

Pep would have them sat on the bench till March and when asked "no no no, we have to let Zubi adapt and Bruno G comes from Newcastle but we must learn together and we must find the right moments."
Neither of them won't sign now and Zubimendi has a few injury issues himself. Not that easy finding the correct signings for this situation.

He's a serial winner. He might be stubborn with his style, and his selections when we are winning. But he won't hesitate to replace some of these as soon as he gets the option. They are making him a laughing stock at the moment

He wont hesitate to replace them?

Zero evidence of that in the past two months so ill call bullshit. Hes sat on his hands and let the same players put in shit performance every 3 days.

Basically the only position in the squad we have somewhat adequate cover in is the goalkeeper position and he dropped Ederson as quickly as you could reasonably expect. Also tried Pusey at centre-back but backfired massively

Basically every other position he has his hands tied a bit because of the injuries or the horrendous squad planning of a recruitment team that needs to lose their jobs for what is going on currently.

And he obviously doesn't trust youth, which is a shame

Their mid-season signing weren't exactly brilliant. It was their recent summer business where they struck gold.

We bought average that with aging players equals where we are. It’s going to take a massive amount of dosh to sort this out. So many players need moving on it’s almost biblical. No room for sentiment buy the best where possible otherwise use the youth and give them a chance. No point buying more average and we are already that which is no surprise

Chelsea sign about 10 players every window and they're in a much better state than us right now. So don't tell me we can only sign one or two.

2 defenders.
2 midfielders.
1 winger/striker.
Chelsea are kind of out of nowhere looking like the blueprint in how to rebuild a squad that needs gutting. Sign a quantity of the best young players you can get your hands on to long contracts and then be ruthless when you find the manager you trust to shape the squad. I expect them to get better and better, and I think in reality we will have to do pretty much the same. Savinho was a good start, but we needed about 5 players of his profile. Then at least this would have been a transitional season, and not a freefall
