We are a victim of our own success for several reasons.

- small squad
- physically knackered players
- mentally knackered players
- motivation not longer there they have won the lot with city
- teams scared to death still park the bus - especially good teams.
- if we dont score first and second like we have done previously teams wont come out ans we get caught on the break

Even if Pep were to change it how would it help. Teams will still sit deep and not play us no matter the style we play. There wont be space behind for a longer or more direct game. We can make quicker transistors but see above…

This is only fixed by players getting their mojo back, getting new players and taking our chances .

You are missing the point . Of course youngsters should be starting that’s what pep did at the start of this unbelievable slump , the youngsters did ok especially at Spurs away in the Carabao but when results and performances continued to get worse he stopped playing the youngsters probably to protect them .
He never played them after the Carabao game.

So you have no idea how good or bad the academy players are but still assume you know better than someone who see them every day. What if they are twice as bad as our senior players? Should Pep play them just so you can see them?
Once again pal because we've seen multiple examples of players who were here that Pep didn't use and turned out to be good players for other clubs, all of these examples have been in the last couple of years, so there is a pattern here.

We've consistently sold the best, what he have left is Championship standard. Still.good footballers, but not up to breaking into our frist 11.

I get it. You dont care about winning trophies, whats important is that we give every youth player with a decent possibility to become an average PL player a few years in the future some minutes.

Well play some of the fucking academy lads, look at Palmer, look at Lavia, look at bloody Rogers today, our academy has a proven track record, give them your trust even if the results won't necessarily improve, I just want to see some desire, let them learn from the mistakes, just try something different for fuck's sake.
Biggest gripe for me. Why are we persisting for the full 90 minutes with the same team? We have 5 subs. Give the young lads some experience. Get them running at teams. Who gives a fuck if it fails, what he is doing is failing.

Read your post again. Logic suggests you are way wrong. Have you seen how many of our ex academy plays, most of whom barely had a chance here, are doing well in the PL? They might not be world class, Cole aside, but are very effective.
So why then would at least a couple of O’Reilly, Wright,McAtee, Wilson-Esbrznd, Simpson-Pusey doer example do a job for us?
You just don’t know till they are given a chance. Look at Rashford - if you remember he was about 10th choice at the rags but circumstances dictated he had to play and didn’t he score 2 on his debut? He might have turned to shit the last couple of seasons but he came from nowhere and did a job for them.

I think Pep think we are a bit closer to having a chance of winning if we only lose with 1 goal instead of 5.

We’re already 2 down and dead and buried. Why persist with the same tired players that have failed to turn it around every single game?

Even if its just to preserve them and give them a breather for the next game.

Whenever the kids play together they are useless and of no help. Pep has been saying for nine years he will not throw the kids into a bad moment . You are clutching at straws and usingit to batter pep with and not just today , i think you are enjoying yourself
What a daft post. No one is saying throw 5 in together for fuck’s sake but why not give one or two a try out , fire example O’Reilly in place of Gundo. McAtee when Phil and Kevin were out of form/injured?
Oh and guess what? Wilson-Esbrand is a left back with league experience - he might be a tad better than Josip at defending the left side.

No I'm not enjoying this at all, the kids won't be all playing together, we're talking about 3 or 4 players mixed up with senior players, I'm not even saying it will work just give them a chance, it also means some of the injured players won't be rushed back and can recover from the injuries, even if the results don't improve we can get those injured players later when they are fitter and they can help us get the results, it's not like we're getting any results by rushing these guys back in.

But fine you don't think playing the kids is a good idea ? how about you change the system and style to suit the current senior players who obviously can't play this high pressing slow passing style ? how about play more directly to suit some of the quick forwards like Haaland, Doku, Savinho and drop deeper to protect the battered defence ? just anything different from the same shit that hasn't been working for the last two months, is that too much to ask ?

Which one of our former academy graduates would I want us to sign this January, if we took that they ever had any history with our youth team out of the equation? Palmer. The rest are not exactly top players and all would currently be underwhelming signings for a team of our stature. And thats after spending time playing regular football at a lower level than us, we could assume they were much worse before getting that development.
Yes its worked well. Weve turned it around how many times?
It has worked pretty well over his years here, I agree. Treble winners, PL win after win after win after win.
