Anyone remember where they were in the table on the morning of the Ipswich game (Amorim's first in charge)? We've been shite for two months now, and they're still 5 points, and 5 goals behind us.

Just prior to the Ipswich game, they were 12th with a goal difference of 0.

They're currently 13th and have -1 goal difference.

(They'd be 14th and on -3, and closer in points to the relegation zone than to us, had we not shat the bed in the derby)

That's brilliant - one fucking hugely luck infiltrated win at the Etihad and it's as though the last 12 years of being shite never existed and straight back to be same old arrogance............
When Amorin turned up he was the last piece of the jigsaw, but with the squad that confronted him on the training ground it was obvious that all the pieces were from different jigsaws, or to put it another way, he had a squad of misfits, something the RDAHMEEDYA have never acknowledged in the last five years.

Theres no way the Prem will allow the scum to be relegated no way ! if they get close to it, all the help going will be thrown their way lets face it we all know it .
Said it a few times. Never would be allowed to happen.

After four years of almost non-stop football and high intensity, both mentally and physically, there are mitigating circumstances for City.

What excuses do the rags have?
They spend Thursdays playing an assortment of Dog and Duck teams so find it difficult to raise their game for PL matches.

Disagree but no biggie.

They clearly couldn't find anybody that they wanted to take over when they were looking to bin him that is clear.

In desperation, they extended his contract and the players didn't want / trust him and refused to play for him.

And once he realised he was being fucked over, the pay off couldn't come quick enough for him.

And in typical rag fuck-ups the rest is what they are currently showing to Amorim, that the players are nowhere near good enough, arrogant and entitled in addition to injury crocks who can't stay fit , even though they are not top class anyway.

Eric Ten Haag is one lucky fucker having got out of that rancid club and the total shitshow.

My version - do with it what you want.

They certainly aren't worth losing sleep over one way or the other.
I have to agree with you.
To take the point about not being able to get anyone to replace Ten Hag so kept him, when they did sack him they still had no one of any pedigree to replace him. The media have made Amorim out be the new Portugese messiah (our thrashing there also helped) but if the media were honest, they would be asking why have they gone for this bloke.
Hopefully in the new year they will be asking just that.
