Seat Counters - 2024/25

“I think City should be doing more to recognise people who turn up week in week out, year in year out. I’ve made that point many times on here.”
Agree completely
They do recognise them.

Then they work out how best to deter them from attending in order to sell their seat at top dollar to a tourist.

Genuineley think people are being way to sensitive about 'what the club think of me'.

I will reiterate, season card prices are fair. Individual matchday prices are where lies the problem.

What bothers me is this. I know people who are newish season card holders who only attend the 5 to 6 big games at home per season as its cheaper to buy a season ticket than buy individual tickets for those particular games Now this needs to be stamped out.
My season ticket was 415 notes this year.
If I get charged circa 60 to 80 (poss more) pounds for the top 6 games, then its cheaper to buy a season card and let the 13 to 14 other games go by relisting on exchange.
Tickets should be 45 tops
The other problem is if you return your ticket to the exchange mob
Your ticket which proberbly is £25: a match will be up for sale at about £70.For the big games they will include include a scran somewhere and charge £400

We can bleat all we want but until it hits the club on the balance sheet we will see no change.
The challenge is too see if anyone in the hierarchy has the foresight to judge the mood of the club's core fan base and change the pricing structure and the amount of tickets they hand out to various agencies.
I'm not sure if we have that person or more worryingly if the club care.

Absolute joke pricing, but I’ve just looked and not many left at all now. Must have been a fair few decided this morning. It’s known o here that I’m actually a forest fan,and it’s my daughter who is the city fan. We are at the city ground today. £52 for me £20 for her. That’s more than enough. We are back at city for the hammers game and I think I’ve paid £90 odd for that.

Season ticket holders seats get taken off the Seat exchange 3 hours before kick off, that's the reason for the big reduction in available tickets.

The ticket policy at City beggars belief .6 of us are watching it at my son's house .
City want £68 a ticket and we wouldn't be able to sit together When I told my mate the price he thought that was for corporate hospitality. If a season ticket returns his ticket as can't go he will get pro rata what he paid between £25 & £35 then the club re sell for £68 plus.
The game was advertised as sold out weeks ago but then the ticket agencies returned there share .So embarrassingly ,they are begging season ticket holders and citizen card holders to buy another 3 each .But they won't be able to sit together .Rant over going for mulled wine and mince pie now
Enjoy both games

Embarrassing from the club, game sold out in August, ticket returns from agencies which do not target blues in the weeks leading up to the game, too late for members, cap in hand to season ticket holders to buy 4 to fill the ground, awful greedy policy, arse about face and insulting.
The game wasn't sold out in August

Only the general sale tickets were sold out with thousands held back in the hope of shifting the rest with expensive corporate packages.

If we were top of the league and flying they would have all been sold.

The fickleness of a football fan and a clueless marketing strategy!

Early December when it was clear we were out of form there should have been a fire sale.
People who had already bought horrendously expensive match tickets for Everton could have been offered others at greatly reduced prices to bring someone else, could've worked.

How many people on here have looked, saw the prices and sacked it off?

Me and 5 others watching in the house with a few crates

Have to admit, this no transferring thing that people have mentioned really concerns me. Since covid my mate who I go with has been coming less and less, fortunately my youngest daughter (you know, that next generation of fans that used to be so important to clubs) has been coming more and more. It hasn't been a problem though as we've just transferred his season ticket to me on a match by match basis and she's now a proper hard core blue who has had pretty much the entire club shop bought for her for Christmas! He's already said he thinks this will be his last and to see if I I'm effect wants to buy it next season. I'm guessing that won't be worth doing if I can't then transfer it to my daughter.

The game was sold out to people who actually support City, or as is the case, sold out until the tourists stop buying them, people wanted these tickets and they were denied the opportunity to buy them because of our strategy. Just been in the club shop, probably be easier to play the game in Beijing in the future

£83. Adult.
£53. Under 18.

“Can we go and see City play Everton Dad?”
“Yes, give me your Christmas money”

Another piss take from the club , why does it take 14 days and possibly 45 days for your money to be paid back ? Wonder if it works the other way round if I buy a ticket

You can’t blame City for tapping into a new CIty support and revenue stream.

10,000’s of Hong Kongers have moved to Manchester escaping Chinese rule.

Because real estate is so expensive in Hong Kong most of them are pretty wealthy after selling their houses and apartments in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kongers will either support City or United. City, like United, are doing what they can to attract that Hong Konger support and their money.

PS. I work for a retail company. The membership has exploded with Hong Konger members, who are spending a lot of money.
