Id love to be as dumb as Pep and Txiki. As it happens I’m self aware enough to understand I will never know a fraction of what they know about players. Oh ,my opinion of Palmer whenever I saw him play for us was he didn’t have the intelligence or decision making to make it with us, similar to my opinion of Doku as it happens.

Which should have nothing to do with actually identifying what we have with Palmer when he instantly became a world-beater as soon as we sold him. Lets ignore that he scored goals both in the community shield and the super cup final in the limited minutes he got before he were sold that season. Lets further ignore that only 18 months later we need a player like him, and there isnt really too much value in the market.
