PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Obviously the question is, who allowed utd`s £40 million allowance for a share sale, were they authorized to do so, is it in the rules or was it, who else has had this allowance, and why did the Clubs not vote on it`s incorporation into the rules. I know SB was querying it on talksport a few weeks ago but it seems nothing else has been said.

scrutinised for seconds……

This, they’ve probably targeted the Aabar and Etisalat deals, where Sheikh Mansour could be considered a related party.

Why would the PL think they are related parties ? BDO clearly don’t and didn’t we agree to restrict the value of these deals from 2014 to ensure they were FMV hence nulling any RP issue?

Nail on head

The bit at the ends gets me, new TV deals talk of how gate receipts are not important because these TV deals were so big yet all clubs did was put the prices up for the fans and give themselves and the players more money.

There really is no honour left in football after you step away from the fans.

Their accumulated losses over the last 3 years are just under £260m. They'll need to find over £150m of "allowances" to escape failing PSR.
As the Gershwin brothers might have put it:

"You say 'allowances' and I say 'indebtedness'/ You say 'allowances' and I say 'arrearages'/ 'Allowances', 'liabilities',/ 'Allowances', 'indebtedness'/ Let's call the whole thing off*.."

(* of course, the Red Cartel driven PL is no longer in a position to 'call the whole thing off', so far down this road it has chosen, mistakenly, stupidly, to travel.. so we must wait patiently until this complete and utter farrago is ended once and for all.. and in our favour, fingers crossed!)

I’m sure their friends at the PL will look the other way when they submit their accounts. Perhaps they could look at other viruses to get past psr like dengue fever or they have enough rats knocking around to kick off the bubonic plague pandemic.
