Newcastle has 4 players I like.. Hall, Livramento, Tonali and Isak..
their first squad isn’t weaker than Arsenal‘s. They just need a better bench.

Agree NUFC need a stronger bench.
But, more importantly, they must keep their best players.
Isak will be top of every team's shopping list.
However, they need to keep him, Bruno, Gordon and perhaps even Tonali.
Because of the new financial restraints, NUFC will struggle to improve their squad, but have bought 2 excellent young full backs, both for a reasonable price.
Hope they win the Carabao Cup as at the moment, they are as good as anyone...

Well if you look at the XG it was 3.76 vs 1.53 for Newcastle so 4-2 would have been correct.

Unlikely we'll miss as many chances again as we did again plus Rags are a worse team than Newcastle. Supposedly Newcastle are the in form team however despite not being anywhere near our best we should have beaten them - just couldn't get the ball in the net tonight.

Suspect it'll be a 4-0 Arsenal vs the Rags or something like that. I wouldn't mind if we sacked off the FA Cup as I don't rate the trophy however it's probably the only thing we can win this season.

Anyway I'm fine if we go out of the FA Cup - enables us to focus on finishing 2nd in the League and also getting knocked out in the CL quarter finals despite being 'XG Winners' as I already know how this season is going to pan out.

Funnily enough, I sat watching it with my 'City Bingo Card' and Bic ballpoint primed and ready for action throughout the game.

By the end of the evening, I hadn't crossed off any of the usual statements on the card (eg 'Oil Money', 'Biggest Squad', '£100M back-up players for every position' and so on and so on..)

Upside is, though, I still have a pristine, unused card for next time I watch the lads when we're away from home.. result, or what?!
