I honestly believe that if Emery had been given the time and budget that Arteta has then he may well have landed a league title or two with Arsenal

ArseBottle broke themselves on the rocks of City.

It took City six magnificent seasons of international and domestic success,over hundreds of games and with a small squad to have an eight week hiatus.

ArseBottle are broken in two + seasons,with less games and NO trophies !!

It couldnt happen to a more treacherous bastard than r teta, or a more entitled bunch of deluded lightweights like their 'fans'.

May they bathe in the depths of their misery and suffering for seasons galore !!

Never before have so many bluemooners asked other bluemooners to be fair when talking about the rags yesterday on the match thread, we are definitely changing and not for the better.

If you mean transfer spend, then that's a big red herring. You have a larger net transfer spend when you're changing a squad, but that's only a small part of the puzzle. A simple google search presented me the last 5 years premier league top spenders, net spend as well. Arsenal are 4th on that list. Chelsea and United are above but obviously they have flung money about stupidly and then Spurs above them. We are 11th. The club they can't apparently better because they are restricted financially? Nah. You can't say they don't spend as much as others then say they have but its because they have changed a lot of their squad?

It seems to me you are more bothered about their revenue than their actual spending and then where that spending has brought them - competitors FC with nothing to show for it. This season is a failure as the only team to stand in their way the last two years is having a year off, they haven't seized that moment, they haven't identified areas to strengthen (striker) and if anything they appear to be going backwards. Just look at their fans and see if they are as happy as you with their "progress"

I think ignoring obvious cheating, diving, the dark arts and time-wasting, regardless of who it is against, is a bit odd TBF. Referee's making decisions because of fan pressure, or because Arteta is jumping up and down to get a player sent off. Everybody needs to call it out.

I thought I'd entered a parallel universe yesterday. The ref was awarding free kicks to Arsenal, every time one of their players threw themselves to the ground, followed by a powwow, attended by all of the Arsenal players, where they would literally stand around discussing the Tony Pulis playbook for a few minutes, as the ref stood by did nothing. The only thing that was missing was a flip chart and laser pen.

And their fans were chanting the name of their set piece coach. I've never been so cringed out, since I saw Hull fans doing the Amarillo dance.

It's all raggish, fuck the rags first and foremost and to hell with the rest. As I said some of our fanbase have changed for the worst.
 
Couldn’t believe the praise for Sterling from Walcott yesterday….I thought he was very poor.

We had a very good 5 years out of him but he has declined alarmingly over the last 4 years……which is not nice to see.

I think his speed, positioning and hard work masked his deficiencies but unfortunately he now looks a pale imitation of his pomp days.

What is strange is that it was Arteta coaching Sterling that made him a far post tap in beast in the centurions season.

Wonder why Arteta can get that out of him now for Arsenal. Is it simply Sterling’s desire isn’t what it was?

100% it is, he lost that in his last 18 months with us and he has never got it back.
