The crazy "sportswashing" conspiracy has reached new levels. Not only are scores of our senior execs and our sponsors involved in a wholesale fraud process with our accounts but now Erling and all his advisers have decided to damage his future careeer just to promote the image of the UAE. There must be hundreds of people involved in this scam . It's a bigger scam than the Truman Show!

True. And not one whistleblower has come forward yet there would have to be be dozens (probably more) of senior people at City, the auditors, our sponsors, in the loop if such a conspiracy had happened. Every story possible has been leaked to the media for ten years but not one which confirms any wrongdoing. There is a reason for this, and also why UEFA and (almost certainly) the PL has not found any evidence. It's because there has been no wrongdoing.

They may not have done.
In this situation though, with no release clauses and a long, financially lucrative contract, the cost of the club being unable to fulfil it would be immense. I cannot see astute professionals setting up such a risk against a backdrop of potential guilt.

That’s the problem. None of these online City haters live in the real world. They believe the all consuming socials and legacy media.

Meanwhile city are progressing ahead with a stadium rebuild, signing new players and keeping Haaland for 10 seasons.

I guess it’s better to stay online in a safe bubble far away from reality.
