With this Haaland extension and the club clearly beating 115 it just makes me wonder on Pep’s long term commitment.

We are so well run it always seems aligned.

Pep has always said he like short deals for various reasons, to keep himself and players on their toes and incase he loses the passion because he gives so much he expects that he can’t forever.

Now we have his personal situation which I don’t want to say any more on.

I really think he is here to stay, a Fergie like stint. But it’s been a hell of a morning so excuse me for being extremely excited.

He hasn't got the pressure of seeing his wife regularly now and his kids are young adults. Pep has said how much he loves it here, may just turn into a long-term romance.

Each time Pep has extended his contract I've thought could he stay long term. Not sure whether he'll do anywhere near 27 years like ferguson spent at united but if he does he'll most probably amass a bigger trophy haul, we'll see.

You might be on to something there, if he's banging some bird from bramhall she might just swing the deal

That would be great as long as it is ok for Pep. He lost his mum during covid and has now split with his wife. Humans need to be part of a unit if they are to thrive. I hope he has friends to whom he is just a regular guy rather than an iconic football manager and that he can switch off with them and relax.
Bacon face probably leant far more on his assistant managers than Pep does and it was a less intense time.

I said ages ago I had a feeling that Pep could easily do a bacon chops in terms of longevity.

I’ve had a feeling in my stomach about it for a while now.

He is losing his pal this summer as well.

I think so too that he's going to stay a lot longer than just 2 years now.

He's practically married to City at this point!
