Middle East Conflict

Talking of Tik Tok, Seems there's been pressure from Aipac to bring the whole thing down. To many videos of all the atrocities Israel have been committing reaching the young folk of America. One of the most watched contents.
True. Their apologists call everyone else snowflakes and anti free speech but they take their ball home to mummy if they are losing control of the narrative like all gutless cowards.

Another good man spoke up, and was man handled out:

America - land of the free*

*Occupied by the Israeli lobby

Matt Miller is the sort of **** that would take the role of official spokesman for NAMBLA, and they'd fire him immediately afterwards realising that the association gave them a bad rep.

I know I’ll get pelters for this from various quarters, but I’ve got broad shoulders: I fully understand Israel’s reaction to October 7th, because it was an entirely human reaction.

Doesn’t mean I agree with or endorse it, but I completely understand it.

What were those mad cunts in Hamas expecting? Absolutely insane decision. And it has fucked them and their cause for a generation, which is ultimately not a good thing.

Whatever it was borne from, it was a catastrophic decision.

This is unarguable as things stand.

Not sure why you would get pelters, it’s a normal train of thought that needs to be understood.

The question I’ve always asked is ‘Why did they choose to do such a thing at that precise time, and why didn’t the Israeli intelligence know it was coming?’.

The fact is they did it. Nobody forced them to.

Some might argue they were forced into it, but that’s not quite the same.

They made a choice.

100% agree with your post pal.
And don't forget that apart from turning Gaza into a pile of uninhabitable rubble, Israel has also decimated Hezbollah in Lebanon and effectively vastly reduced its capacity to attack Israel.
Ditto with Syria, and Israel has shown that Iran is just a paper tiger ,who like to shout and make threats but in reality just sit inside their own borders and let other organizations do their fighting for them.
In the history of badly judged world events, the Hamas October 7th raid must sit alongside Pearl Harbor as being the biggest fuck ups ever.
And as usual it is the innocent civilians who pay the price for the ineptitude of their leaders.

Pearl Harbour is a great analogy pal. Unnecessary and ultimately doomed to fail.

7/10 was a Palestinian act of self harm. I understand it was borne of frustration, but that doesn’t automatically make it well judged.

The Israeli media certainly don't view it as "unarguable" that it was a "catastrophic decision" for Hamas.

I think the last sentence is a pertinent question for a security service supposedly one of the best in the world.

I agree with GDM though in terms of Hamas decision making. Not only has it severely crippled them, it has also crippled Hezbollah.

When you've been caged up and treated like animals for years from a genocidal state i guess there becomes a tipping point.

I guess there does. Doesn’t undermine my point in the slightest. You think it was a move that’s remotely helped Hamas, their cause or the people they are fighting for?

O

It definitely undermines your point. We're talking about a people that have been oppressed for nigh on a century. As you say, their actions were deplorable and unjust, but don't be surprised when provocation oftentimes leads to a response.

This is one of the most evil regimes about that have had their foot on the Palestinians neck and refused to take it off for decades. So yeh let's say the day before the Hamas atrocities what other route do they take to try and end the Israelis brutal occupation?
The decision of let's attack isreal, commit an atrocity, cause the deaths of tens of thousands of your own people, its wrong. It's a wrong as what isreal are doing.

There are no sides, no right and wrong. They're all culpable for the deaths of innocent civilians.
