We were crying out for legs in midfield, we were getting over run, out muscled, out played, so he takes Nunes off for Stones and re jiggs and un settles the whole back line, straight from the free kick we go 3 - 2 down.
Should've sacrificed one of the front 3 and beefed up the midfield, his current tactics are clearly not working.

Starting XI made sense from the available players. Presume Dias was injured because that has to be the only reason to take him off. Second half we again lacked any leadership or game management.

I don't understand why Pep is averse to shutting up shop with 5 at the back or flooding the midfield. They had 18 shots in that second half and we had 0 hope of a counter due to Nunes being our only fast player - so just make it tight. Bring Stones on for Foden/Bernardo or earlier for KDB - go to a back 5 with wingbacks as we weren't gaining anything from keeping it as is. Baffling lack of pragmatism

That being said - the players were really, really, comically poor as soon as the first went in.
