Pretty much less than any appeals process I'd guess. How much does a bullet cost or a length of rope.

I totally agree with what you are saying and understand how you feel. If someone killed or raped my daughters I know I'd go mental and want to torture them to death, yet I'm a pacifist in total control of my emotions 99.9% of the time. Like you say it's a love you can't explain and I think most parents think the same.Fuck Mathew and the fucking bible.
If you had a child you would understand.
Someone does something like this to them they will pay for it.
when i first held my daughter i knew then i would die to protect her.
its a love you cant explain it goes beyond anything.
I thought I loved my mum and dad.
And my misses .
but that moment was another level.
do something to her i would hunt down who ever it was and cut his throat
A few years ago some bloke was creepy as fuck with my daughter.I totally agree with what you are saying and understand how you feel. As for capital punishment I agree with it. Child rapists/murderers, serial killers and terrorists should be humanely put to death for inhumane and heinous crime imo.
I think they spend a lot longer on remand before trial in the US as well. But, there wouldn't necessarity be such a long drawn out appeals process. It used to be "3 clear Sundays" before execution in the UK.Regarding the money argument and how much it costs to keep someone in prison vs executing them, just a quick note that the average length of time spent on Death Row in the States is 233 months which is just 7 months shy of 20 years so it's still costing a fuck ton of money sentencing people to death. It's not just the cost of housing those on Death Row either. There's also the cost of the numerous appeals that many prisoners undertake.
That's not the only reason why I'm not in favour. There's also the obvious one of wrongful conviction. I also think that death is sometimes the easy way out for the most evil of murderers - chucking them in solitary for the rest of their lives and throwing away the key would be far harder for them to cope with IMO.
That's what any nonce deserves, a proper good hiding as a minimum.A few years ago some bloke was creepy as fuck with my daughter.
I'll not say what he did.
I don't like to think about it.
He had only just moved to buxton from Norwich.
I found out where he lived.
Kick his door in and battered him.
Red mist came down like nothing I've ever known.
I told him I will be back in the morning if your still here your getting it big time.
Hes never been seen again in buxton.
What I'd would do if he did worse than he did I don't know.
Fucking do gooders and God bothers saying read the bible .
Fuck off.
Derek Bentley was convicted on 11th December 1952, his Appeal was on 13th January 1953 and was hanged a couple of weeks later. They didn’t fuck around back then.I think they spend a lot longer on remand before trial in the US as well. But, there wouldn't necessarity be such a long drawn out appeals process. By "front loading" the process it could be kept reasonably short. If the trial system was revised so that, in cases where the death pealty was a possibility, it was more like a coronors court, then the risk for false convictions could be reduced. The trial could have a panel of judges and a jury, both needing to convict in order for the guilty to be sentenced to death. The judges could (like a coroner) direct for more evidence to be produced, or cross-examine witnesses etc. Forensic evidence could be independently reviewed with double blind tests, for example to confirm the voracity of the evidence.
Not that I'm in favour if it.
And some God bothering clown is telling me to read the bible. That's what any nonce deserves, a proper good hiding as a minimum.
Ah yes. He was 19 and had a mental age of 11. He could neither read nor write and suffered from epilepsy. His partner in crime killed the policeman.Derek Bentley was convicted on 11th December 1952, his Appeal was on 13th January 1953 and was hanged a couple of weeks later. Absolutely wonderful, thanks for asking. You okay hun?

Yeah no priests are nonce's are they
On the contrary. a civilised society should allow people to end their lives with dignity.
Right. So the next part of the question is should people who are serving prison sentences for certain crimes be able to choose to end their lives using the same method as an alternative to spending the rest of their lives behind bars.
Isn’t that the mark of a civilised society?
The rate of wrongful conviction where the death penalty was given is around 1 in 8 in the USA. That is a rate of failure you wouldn't accept anywhere else in society. Is the death sentence worth the risk of even one wrongful conviction even if you do think killing another human as punishment is a morally correct deterrent?
fair enoughRascal isn't religious as far as I know. I think he got the impression you were a Christian.
Nobody would mourn the guy’s death and it would satisfy our worst human urges…..The actions of a very few people take them outside civilised society, having made that choice why do they have the right to be treated in a civilised manner?
There are many good arguments for not having the death penalty, however none of them really stack up in cases such as the Southport murders.
