During the UEFA charges I worked in Runcorn with a load of Liverpool fans.
For months I was getting it in the neck off them. One day they were talking about the ban and I just chirped back saying there’s a lot worse things you can do to get banned from Europe isn’t there.

Needless to say despite being factually correct it didn’t go down well at all.

Was a bit silly though, was fine to talk about city possibly being banned but not about Liverpool who actually got every English team banned.

It was followed two hours later. I contacted the club and I think they grabbed someone from Sky at the game yesterday.

he has made a libellous statement on a sky program, its gross misconduct whichever way you slice it, keeping him in employment shows they stand by those views and lets not forget sky apologised he hasnt
