The Legend Of Xanadu is a one of my favourites, and possibly the earliest song I can remember on TotP.

Some trivia. When Dave Dee was a police cadet he was one of the first on the scene at the car crash that killed Eddie Cochran. He learnt to play guitar on Cochran's Gretsch guitar which was kept at the police station after the accident.

Yes!!! I was too young at the time but my brother had that. That & Baggy Trousers are the covers I remember most from childhood. Mistaken about the skinhead though. Where did I imagine that?
