Neymar when on form, focussed and fit is amazing. Yeah he's a bit of a tw*t sometimes but that Barca front 3 of him Suarez and Messi still might have been the best forward line I've seen. I fear it might have been his peak too. Literally carried a poor Brazil side too. Wish him a speedy recovery. He's on a hiding to nothing due to theatrics and moods but like many elite players they do it because they get sick of getting kicked all over the park and they have a proper snide desire to win too mind. :P
 
Neymar is what the Japanese would call a siscon. And a dirty little **** to boot (yes, I know Richarlison is also a dirty **** but he's OUR ****).
 
When you’re a professional footballer as wellas a party boy, your body will give up at some point.

He effectively retired from club football in the summer, so I doubt his conditioning was anywhere near his peak.
 
Horrific injury. That could be curtains for him, 31, long recovery, no guarantee the surgery will even be a success nevermind getting back to playing. I know hes moved to saudi and he effectively retired anyway but he was one of the few who could have played at the highest level still, this could mean he might not play again though. Did something similar along with a dislocation all in one go when I was barely out of my teens and have daily issues with it to this day, wouldn't wish it on anybody. Hope he recovers and gets to play again, even if it's in a semi-retirement saudi league.

Ouch mate that must have been a killer. You had the triple whammy pretty rare. ACL is bad enough for a footballer, that's typically 8 months gone minimum, throw in the mensicus which causes a lot more pain on recovery and some lag with range of motion/leg bending for physio

Its hard to like the guy at all but it's a shite injury. He's prone to ballooning, a bit like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Adriano. He may be back Halloween 2024 ten kilos heavier.
 
Breaking news: Injury prone footballer injured again. "Its completely predictable" says everyone.
