Players who might improve us

We need 3 midfielders and a fullback in the summer..if we can get one midfielder this window (probably unlikely) then good.

My list:

6/8- Bruno G
8- Reindjers (best midfielder after Pedri this year)
10- Wirtz

For fullback let's stick with Cambiaso because of versatility.

Those 4 would be my top choices in a perfect world.

We need 2 Mids, 3 is overkill. We have enough 10s and Tijanni can play 10 in a shortage.

Bruno G and Tijana will be great. I personally don't want Cambiaso. He is a left back who can play on the right. I'd rather get a real RB. Livrsmento or Vanderson for me. Because i think Josko is a left back, im less worried about getting one.

I think Gundo, Kova and Kev all leave. Nunes and Bernie are less likely but possible. Can not count on Rodri to be fully back either. Rehab and rust are real especially with knee injuries. My preference is to have as much cover in the middle as possible.

As for the FB position, I don't really have a preference tbh as long as we get a capable body there.

Wirtz only if we lose both Grealish and KDB imo. Already stacked there.
 
Brighton losing 7-0 as Baleba misses his first game in months. He makes an enormous difference to their midfield. Brighton fans say he’s doing the job of 2-3 midfielders on his own. Would love him at City, incredible talent. And for the ones that likes transfer rumors: a Liverpool ITK says Baleba to City is very close (assume it’s for the summer)

Just out of interest why isn't he playing? Injured? Suspended?

Would have to have done the work or 5 or 6 today, Brighton were useless.

Which ITK? they have more than any fanbase it seems.

baleba, nico, Rodri + Bernardo and/or Kovacic wouldn’t be bad honestly.
 
I dont see Altimira as good enough yet.. I watch Betis regularly and hes been benched a bit this season. He might get there though. His compatriot Johnny (Cardoso) is the better player, Spurs got the first call on him though.. through some contract.. Im not sure how that works in reality though.
 
Just out of interest, have any of the players we have recently signed have been mentioned on this thread? Or have they all been a bit out of the blue/
